Huawei's Hongmeng OS Coming Soon?

We got to know about the Huawei’s alternative solution to Android named Hongmeng OS midst the problems between U.S. and Huawei. For those who dont know U.S. Government banned companies based in the U.S. to do business with Huwaei. Those included companies like Google, Intel, Qualcomm and many others. Even though the Ban has been somewhat lifted, Huawei has continued to work on their alternative OS solution.

Will the Hongmeng OS be able to replace Android no one knows but it is sure to be added to the competitors list of Android which are not many. Huawei will reportedly show off Hongmeng OS at its developer conference, which starts on Friday August 9th in Dongguan, China. Huawei executives have said the software is primarily designed for IoT devices, though it will come to Honor smart TVs first, according to Reuters. Global Times claims that a Hongmeng OS smartphone is very much in the works and already in the process of being tested. The first device could debut alongside Huawei’s Mate 30 Pro flagship later in the year, with a release date set for the fourth quarter.
