The new Maruti Suzuki Celerio has been officially launched in India on 10th October, Wednesday. 

Overview

The new Maruti Suzuki Celerio is likely to make the most of the current demand for smaller passenger vehicles amidst the preference for personal mobility in Covid times.

Engine and mileage

The new Maruti Celerio is powered by the next-gen K-Series Dual Jet, Dual VVT Engine with Idle Start-Stop technology.  It puts out 49 Kw and offers 89 Nm of torque, and gets several design changes on the outside giving the certified mileage of 26.68 kmpl. The company claims Celerio has 23% better fuel efficiency than the outgoing model.

Exterior

Celerio has a 3D sculpted exterior body profile with a new radiant front grille, sharper headlight units, and fog light casing. Also, the new Celerio reveals that the hatchback comes with some elements that are visible in S-Presso.

The car comes with 15-inch alloy wheels.

Interior

Celerio has more space for passengers while being equipped with newer features like first-in-segment Hill Hold Assist, engine start-stop, large tab-like infotainment screen, among others.

The car has a center-focus visual appeal with sharp dash lines, twin-slot AC vents with chrome accents, a new gear shift design, and a new design for upholstery.

Safety features:

Overall, the car comes with more than 12 safety features including dual airbags, ABS with EBD, and first-in-segment Hill Hold Assist.

Colors

The new Celerio will be available in a total option of six colors including two new colors – Solid Fire Red and Speedy Blue along with Arctic White, Silky Silver, Glistening Grey, and Caffeine Brown.

Price:

The Maruti Suzuki Celerio has been launched in India with a price between INR 4.99 lakh and INR 6.94 lakh (ex-showroom), depending on variants.

Maruti Suzuki's sub-four meter SUV Brezza BSVI petrol version is now in Nepal.  Maruti Suzuki plans to launch the Breza in a few days. They will be launching VXI and ZXI Plus in Nepal for now.

Previously available only in diesel engines, Brezza will now be available only in petrol engines as Suzuki has stopped the production of diesel engines in the Indian market.
The price of the new Brezza, which is coming with more cosmetic modifications than before, has not been revealed yet. Reviews expect the price to be cheaper than the earlier diesel version and in the bracket of Rs 39,49000 to 42,9000.

Preparations are underway to put it in showrooms from next week. The company will probably officially release price and feature information on Sunday. At present, the starting price of a diesel Breza in Nepal is Rs 39 lakh 49 thousand while the price of the top variant is Rs 45 lakh 29 thousand.

It will compete in the Nepali market with models like Ford EcoSpot, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon,  Mahindra XUV300.

 

 

Features

The facelift model of Maruti Suzuki's popular sub-four meter SUV Brezza is being sold in India in nine different variants. However, the company has not given any information about which models have been brought to Nepal.
In India, Brezza's LXI, VXI, ZXI, ZXI Plus, and ZXI Plus (DualTone) are sold in 5 variants manually and VXI, ZXI, ZXI Plus and ZXI Plus (DualTone) are being sold in 4 automatic variants.
CG MotoCorp is launching VXI and ZXI Plus in Nepal for now.

Engine

The new Brezza is powered by a 1.5-liter BS-VI K15B SHVS four-cylinder petrol engine. The engine will provide 105 PS of power and 138 Nm of torque. 5-speed manual and 4-speed torque converter automatic gearbox is given.

Hybrid Technology 

According to the company, it uses hybrid technology. The technology has features like fuel-saving, ideal starter stop, torque assist function, brake energy regeneration.

Design

With some modifications to the front, the Breza features redesigned headlamps and LED daytime running lights. The use of chrome on the grill in its top variant makes the car look very attractive. This makes the car look sharper and more sporty than before.
