"Awesome phone for 12,000 rupees with all the necessary features."
Reviews

Cubot calls this phone Ordinary but not Mediocre and with the price tag of just 12,000 Nepali rupees and with features like dual cameras, this phone is not mediocre at all. This phone and the company itself is not widely known, fighting to be one of the best in the budget section, there is a good potential for the company.

Design

R19 is simple looks ordinary but curved back fits in the hand nicely and with the dimentions of 148.8x70.7 and 8.9mm, this phone is not very large or chunky. Even though back of the phone is made from plastic, the phone is solidly build and comes in three color variants Green, Black and Gradiant.

Performance

Powering the phone is 14nm Quadcore Helio A22 processor which is bundled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage expandable upto 128GB via MicroSD. Taking care of the graphics is the Power VR GE8300 and the phone runs on Android 9.0 Pie. The phone also features a 2800mAh high density battery which the company claims will last a whole day.

Light gaming can be done in this mobile with no problems but big titles like Asphalt 9 or Pubg mobile suffers from some stutters here and there which is to be expected in this budget segment phone.

Cameras

Cubot R19 comes with dual camera setup: 13MP primary sensor and a secondary 2MP sensor. There are many modes of photography builtin the phones like mono for taking black and white photos, beauty mode, bokeh mode and Pro mode to tweak the settings as per your preferences. In the front 8MP selfie camera resides in a waterdrop notch capable of taking decent selfies. This selfie camera is also used for securing the device with Face ID. Other option for locking the device is the Fingerprint sensor situated at the back of the phone.

Display

The display used in this phone is a 5.71 inch HD+ screen with the resolution of 1520x720, aspect ratio of 19:9 and pixel count of 295. Media consumption in this phone is decent but while testing we saw some stutters but a quick reboot took that stutter away.

Other feature includes dual sim Dual 4G support, dedicated memory card slot, notification light, detachable battery, near Stock Android and very rare 3.5mm audio jack.
