Recently appointed Health Minister of Nepal Sherbahadur Tamang has expressed his commitment towards providing the vaccines against Covid-19 to auto mechanics of Nepal.

Nepal Auto Mechanics Business Association. had requested for 60,000 vaccines for the mechanics in Nepal, to which the Health Minister has approved of. Tamang assure that the vaccines coming to Nepal will be distributed to the mechanics who have provided great support to the frontline workers during the pandemic by looking after the maintenance and well being of the vehicles the frontline workers are dependent upon. 

The delegation team of Nepal Auto Mechanics Business Association’s President Thakurprasad Nyaupane and Vice President Madhav Bahadur Rimal former President Dipak Khadka had presented the request for the vaccines at a meeting with Sherbahadur Tamang. In the meeting the association President along with the delegation members informed the minister about the services provided by the auto mechanics businesses. Currently auto workshops are allowed to operate in the valley from 9 pm to 9 am during the prohibition period.
