Skoda's New SUV Karoq Has Made it’s Way To Nepal - Reviews

"Available in two variants, Ambison and Ambition Plus, the skoda Karoq is priced at Rs 11.5 million and Rs 12.5 million, respectively."

Skoda's new SUV, which is expected to compete with SUVs such as Jeep Compass and Hyundai Tucson, has entered Nepal. Although the official distributor of Skoda in Nepal, MAW Enterprises, has not officially announced, the SUV has reached Showroom.


Skoda Karoq with 2.0 liter diesel engine has entered the Nepali market. The engine generates 105 kW of power and 320 Nm of torque.

The Skoda Karoq in Nepal is priced at Rs.1 crore 30 lakhs (Ambition Plus TDI AT).

Imported to Nepal directly from the Czech Republic, the Skoda Karoq features a panoramic sunroof, virtual cockpit, digital instrument cluster, alloy wheels, full LED headlights, 20.32 cm LCD touchscreen, dual zone climate control and other features.

For security, it has six airbags, ABS with EBD, mechanical brake assist, hill start assist, front and rear parking sensors and rear parking camera.

ŠKODA teases first sketches of all-new OCTAVIA RS iV

 ŠKODA is stoking anticipation of the all-new ŠKODA OCTAVIA RS iV. The Czech manufacturer has released three official exterior design sketches showing the sporty range-topper for the fourth OCTAVIA generation, which will have its world premiere on 3 March at the Geneva Motor Show. Signature black RS details emphasize the dynamic design language of the elegantly proportioned ŠKODA best-seller, whose dimensions have grown slightly over those of its predecessor. As the first ŠKODA RS model to feature a plug-in hybrid powertrain, the OCTAVIA RS iV is unique in the way it combines family-friendly versatility and sports car-like performance with sustainability and efficiency.

Twenty years after the debut of the first OCTAVIA RS, the ŠKODA OCTAVIA RS iV is all set to open the next chapter of what has become a remarkable success story. The OCTAVIA RS is extremely popular within the model series: in the core European ŠKODA markets of Germany, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, every fifth OCTAVIA delivered to customers ended up being an RS model. Customers appreciate the combination of a generously-sized interior, versatility and sporting performance. Featuring a plug-in hybrid powertrain generating a system output of 180 kW (245 PS), the all-new OCTAVIA RS iV boasts superior fuel economy and low CO2 emissions, making it particularly sustainable.

The design sketches reveal the OCTAVIA RS iV in a coupé-style saloon and dynamic COMBI estate format. The most eye-catching design elements are a black ŠKODA grille and a sporty front apron with large air intakes and distinctive black detailing. Large alloy wheels, diffusers at the front and rear and spoilers on the saloon’s tailgate and the rear edge of the COMBI’s roof underline the dynamic appeal of the ŠKODA OCTAVIA RS iV.

2021 Skoda Enyaq iV Electric SUV Makes Global Debut With 510 km Range

"Skoda Enyaq iV is the brand's first electric SUV and is based on the MEB architecture, with a maximum range of 510 km."

The Skoda Vision iV concept showcased at the Geneva Motor Show last year and is the newest model to be based on the Volkswagen Group's MEB architecture for electric vehicles. The 2021 Skoda Enyaq iV electric SUV is slightly smaller than the new-generation Octavia in terms of dimensions while offering the same cabin space as its largest SUV - the Kodiaq.

The sharply styled headlamp cluster is an all-LED unit on the new Enyaq iV, while the rear also sports LED taillights with the razor-sharp design. Skoda is also offering Matrix LED headlights as an optional feature on the SUV. The all-new Skoda Enyaq iV electric SUV boasts of strong yet simple lines and the production-ready model looks identical to the sketches released over the past few weeks.

The SUV gets the new 'Crystal Face' that is illuminated and is quite the surprise on the offering. Skoda also says that the new Crystal Face is a new design direction that will be seen on future offerings as well.  the new Crystal Face on the electric SUV and comes along with 130 LEDs.

The offering comes with 18-inch wheels right from the base variant and that's extremely likeable, while the range-topping versions get the 21-inch alloys on offer.

The 2021 Skoda Enyaq iV electric SUV will be offered in multiple configurations of power and range. There are at least five variants to choose from with the entry-level Enyaq 50 iV developing 109 kW (146 bhp) and 220 Nm of peak torque from its electric motor. The base version gets a 55 kWh battery pack with a range of 340 km on a single charge and a top speed of 160 kmph.

The other power outputs from the electric motor include - 177 bhp/310 Nm, 201 bhp/310 Nm, and 261 bhp/425 Nm. However, the Skoda Enyaq RS iV variant is effectively the manufacturer's most powerful offering ever produced with 302 bhp and 460 Nm on offer from two electric motors. The RS version also has a higher top speed of 180 kmph and can sprint from 0-100 kmph in 6.2 seconds, as against 11.4 seconds on the entry-level version.

There are 62 kWh and 82 kWh battery packs with a range of 390 km and 460 km, while the maximum range is offered on the Enyaq 80 iV trim of 510 km on a single charge. The Skoda Enyaq iV will take about 38 minutes to charge up to 80 per cent using the 125 kW fast charger, while AC wall box of up to 11 kW will be able to fully charge in six to eight hours, depending on the battery size.

Skoda has also revealed the Enyaq iV Founders' Edition with the production restricted to just 1895 units to celebrate 125 years of the Skoda. The limited-edition unit will get a special commemorative badge on the exterior and the largest 21-inch wheels on offer.

Pre-orders are open for the all-new Skoda Enyaq iV for Europe and the company has confirmed that Norway will be the first market to get the SUV globally. The Volkswagen ID.4 electric SUV that will go on sale in Europe by the end of 2020.
