Maruti Suzuki S-Cross 1.5-litre K-Series BS-VI petrol Launched In India

"The Maruti Suzuki S-Cross petrol draws power from the 1.5-litre K-Series petrol engine shared with the Ciaz that replaces the 1.3-litre diesel on the model. It is offered with both manual and automatic options."

After displaying the model at the 2020 Auto Expo, Maruti Suzuki has finally launched the 2020 S-Cross petrol compact SUV in India.  The new Maruti Suzuki S-Cross petrol is offered in four variants with prices starting at INR 8.39 lakh for the Sigma manual variant and going up to INR 12.39 lakh for the Alpha automatic variant.

Suzuki S-Cross Petrol Specification

The new Maruti Suzuki S-Cross petrol is offered in four variants. The compact SUV draws power from the 1.5-litre K15B petrol engine that develops 103 bhp and 138 Nm of peak torque. The biggest update on the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross comes to the powertrain. The engine is BS6 compliant and also powers the Ciaz, XL6, Ertiga, and the Vitara Brezza. The motor comes with the SHVS mild-hybrid technology that enhances power delivery and fuel efficiency.

Features of Suzuki S-Cross Petrol

The new S-Cross petrol including projector lens headlamps with LED daytime running lights, dual-tone alloy wheels, LED taillights and chrome highlights. The cabin boasts of features like engine start-stop, SmartPlay infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, multi-function leather-wrapped steering wheel, auto-dimming and antiglare inside rear view mirror,  height-adjustable driver's seat, automatic climate control, cruise control and more.

Safety features of Suzuki S-Cross Petrol

The new Maruti Suzuki S-Cross is equipped with rear parking camera, reverse parking sensors, rear park assist, gear shift indicator, dual front airbags, antilock braking system (ABS) with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), driver and co-driver seat belt reminder, high-speed warning alert, and ISOFIX child seat restraint system. These safety features are standard across all variants and the S-Cross Petrol is also compliant with safety norms including frontal offset crash, side-impact and pedestrian safety.

The crossover continues to compete against a number of offerings in the segment including the Renault Duster, and the non-turbocharged variants of the Ford  EcoSpot, Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos petrol

Price of Suzuki S-Cross Petrol

The price of Maruti S-Cross starts at Rs. 8.80 Lakh and goes up to Rs. 12.77 Lakh.

Suzuki announces “Naya Suruwat” low downpayment and EMI scheme

Under the initiative, the customer can now own a Suzuki car with minimum downpayment Starting from Rs379800 for suzuki passenger cars and Rs 299750 for commercial models. The Emi for passenger cars starts as low as RS 13913 and Rs 9734 for commercial models. The downpayment and Emi vary according to the different Suzuki models. Apart from the finance scheme the customer can also avail Attractive cash discount of  upto Rs 225000, attractive  of Rs 200000 exchange valuation, and 1-year free insurance.

According to the company, The lockdown enforced to prevent spread of COVID 19 has created many uncertainties in mind of Nepalese customer.
