Yamaha FZ-X Launched In Nepal

26th May 2022
"MAW Enterprises, the authorized distributor of Yamaha motorcycles in Nepal, has launched its first-ever neo-retro 150cc motorcycle the Yamaha FZ-X."

MAW Enterprises, the authorized distributor of Yamaha motorcycles in Nepal, has launched its first-ever neo-retro 150cc motorcycle the Yamaha FZ-X.  Yamaha FZ-X is an all-new entry into the popular FZ Series.

With that said, let’s take a quick look at Yamaha FZ-X with its key specifications:

Performance

The Yamaha FZX is powered by a 149cc, 2-valve, SOHC air-cooled engine. It has a maximum power of 12.4PS at 7250rpm and a maximum torque of 13.4Nm at 5500rpm.

It is also paired with a 5-speed transmission and a 10-liter fuel tank. FZX features a BS6-compliant engine.

Design

The Yamaha FZX differs from the traditional streetfighter stance. It represents the arrival of a new era of neo-retro motorcycles.

While the overall design is inspired by classic-era retro motorcycles, the practical components are modern.

A circular headlight with bi-functional LED and LED DRLs graces the front part. It also features a stylish oval-shaped ring LED tail light.

The side appearance is boxier, as though inspired by classic motorcycles. It comes with a muscular fuel tank along with a metal fuel tank cover.

Moreover, it gets the classic two-level seat with tuck and roll. Other visual and functional elements include block pattern tires, blacked-out engine cowl, and multiple body cladding.

The gap between the rear seat and rear tire feels slightly awkward.

Features

The FZ-X features smartphone connectivity to work with the Yamaha Y-Connect app.

The Y-Connect app displays phone notifications and several telemetric features like fuel consumption, maintenance recommendation, last parking position, and malfunction, as well as the Revs Dashboard that displays data such as engine rpm, degree of throttle opening, and rate of acceleration, eco-friendly riding indicator, and real-time fuel consumption.

However, it skips navigation or media control.
