With years of experiments and experience, TVS finally achieved its best-selling bike, Apache. The bike is a good performer, just the way it looks. This time we were provided with the Apache RTR 160 2V for a review.

Apache RTR 160 Design

Starting with its design, this bike gives a nostalgic taste to the Apache series with muscled tank and the beast inspired headlamps. Looks a little smaller than the 4V version. The height is designed for short and average height people. The digital display comes with a cover, unlike the 4V version. The display consists of both digital and analogue meters. It has the race inspired carbon fiber cues. The bike has aerodynamic razored design which helps to combat wind resistance. In summary, it also has the racing DNA we have seen in its other versions.

Apache RTR 160 2V Suspension

The frontal suspension is telescopic with hydraulic dampers and the rear suspension is the monotube inverted gas-filled shox with spring aid.

This bike comes in both single and dual disk brakes. The one we were provided had both frontal and rear disk brakes, and we actually liked the brakes in this bike.

The ground clearance of the bike is 165 mm and the wheelbase is 1300 mm.

Apache RTR 160 2V Price in Nepal

The price of the bike is 2,64,900 NRS.

We checked the feedbacks from their customers and came to know that it performs well in mileage. So we decided to give it a try. We filled only a liter and started our journey. We rode and rode and the bike stopped at 40. Which is good. Considering that the bike was ridden in the city area, we can say that it can give the mileage of 45+ kmpl in the highways. The maximum tank capacity of the bike is 12 llitres.

The engine was smooth but TVS could work in the vibration. We can feel the bike vibrate after it reaches 6000 rpm.

Another thing we liked about the bike is its maneuverability. The bike is lightweight and can be controlled very easily.

Visit the showroom for a test ride.
