"The Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle line is a key model for Bajaj Auto in India"

The Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle line is a key model for Bajaj Auto in India. In fact, in FY2021, Bajaj Auto sold a total of 945,978 Pulsar units (all Pulsar models combined). The company recently expanded its Pulsar lineup by introducing the new Pulsar NS125 just a few weeks ago. The 'Dagger Edge' editions of the Pulsar 150, Pulsar 180, and Pulsar 220F have now been quietly launched in India. In fact, we did a story last month about Bajaj introducing new colors for the 220F.

The Pearl White, Sapphire Blue, Volcanic Red, and Sparkle Black color options are available for the Bajaj Pulsar 220F Dagger Edge edition. The Bajaj Pulsar 220F will continue to be powered by a 220 cc single-cylinder engine producing 20.11 bhp at 8,500 rpm and peak torque of 18.55 Nm at 7,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed transmission. The new Pulsar 220F Dagger Edge edition costs Rs. 1.28 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Finally, the Pulsar 150 Dagger Edge edition now comes in two new colors: Pearl White and Sapphire Blue. It retains the same BS6-compliant 149.5 cc single-cylinder engine, which produces 13.8 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 13.25 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed transmission. The Pulsar 150 Dagger Edge costs Rs 1.02 lakh, while the dual-disc variant costs Rs 1.05 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

In India, Bajaj Auto has launched the new Bajaj Pulsar NS125, which is priced at INR 93,690 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This is the first 125 cc bike that the company has launched in its 'NS' or naked sport range and will be positioned as the entry-level performance model after the NS200 and the NS160. Bajaj says that the NS125 is aimed at young enthusiasts. The NS125 will be offered in four color options that are Pewter Grey, Beach Blue, Fiery Orange and Burnt Red. Bajaj says that the NS125 is the most powerful bike in its segment, barring the KTM 125 Duke of course.

Commenting on the launch Sarang Kanade, President - Motorcycles, Bajaj Auto said "We are excited to bring the pedigree of the higher cc Pulsar NS series bikes, for first-time performance riding enthusiasts. The thrill that the new Pulsar NS 125 is built to offer, will appeal to a large segment of customers with its multiple class-leading features.
