Hyundai Nepal organizes media interaction and FAM observation tour

"Laxmi Intercontinental Pvt. Ltd, Hyundai's official dealer for Nepal, organized a media gathering at Hyundai's electric showroom in Thapathali, Kathmandu on 8th April."

Hyundai's official dealer for Nepal, Laxmi Intercontinental Pvt. Ltd. organized a at Hyundai’s dedicated EV showroom at Thapathali. 

The company shared about its dedicated showroom, and sustainability initiatives, and exhibited different components of their electric vehicles on the occasion. 

On the occasion, various information related to the infrastructure and operation of Hyundai electric vehicles was given through various presentations at the Hyundai Training Center in Patan Industrial Area.

The main objective of the program was to create awareness among EV enthusiasts and potential buyers about Hyundai Nepal's commitments and initiatives in the field of sustainable mobility and electric vehicles.

At present, there are 40 charging stations and the company has stated that it will increase it as per the need.

Hyundai plans to invest even more in electric vehicle infrastructure in Nepal in the coming days.

50 EV charging station to be installed all across Nepal.

"The charging stations will be designed to be able to charge 3 EVs at once."

Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has signed a contract agreement worth Rs 377.95 million (tax excluded), with Wanwang Digital Energy Corporation for import, installation, inspection, operation, and maintenance of EV charging stations in 50 different locations across Nepal.

 


 

The charging stations being built with the help of the Asian Development Bank will be finished within the year according to the contract. 

Wanwang has been made responsible for the maintenance and recovery duties for the next five years. 

The charging stations will be designed to be able to charge 3 EVs at once.

People will be able to book the time and location to charge their EVs through a mobile app

This will reduce the possibility of the consumers having to wait their turn to charge their vehicles.

Payment for the charging will be done through electronic card swiping.

All the charging stations will be remotely controlled from Kathmandu. 

Meal services and various other refreshing activities shall be available at the stations, to kill time for the travelers, while their EVs charge. 

According to a notice provided by NEA a year ago, the charging stations will be built in various parks, shopping malls, and open spaces. 

There will be 7 charging stations within Kathmandu valley, 5 in Province no. 1, 7 in Province no. 2, 13 in Bagmati region except Kathmandu, 6 in Gandaki Province, 8 in Lumbini Province, 1 in Karnali, and 3 in Sudurpaschim regions of Nepal.

Hyundai new showroom in Bhaktapur

"Hyundai has opened a new showroom in Radhe Radhe, Bhaktapur."

Laxmi Intercontinental P. Ltd., the sole authorized distributor of Hyundai Automobiles in Nepal, has opened a new showroom in Radhe Radhe, Bhaktapur.

Hyundai's number of showrooms has reached 15 across the country, including this new showroom opened in Bhaktapur.

The company has stated that it has brought into operation from Monday to provide sales, service and spare parts (3S) services to the customers of Bhaktapur and surrounding areas.

Laxmi Intercontinental has 15 showrooms and 19 service stations across Nepal.

Hyundai Motors is one of the top five automobile manufacturers in the world.
