Realme UI 2.0 Based on Android 11 Coming to more Realme Devices to Build Seamless Fun

The world’s fastest-growing smartphone brand realme, officially launched realme UI 2.0 back in September of 2020.

Bringing in smooth and trendsetting OS and a more open user experience for Gen Z has received massive feedback from the users.

Encouraging the youth to create, socialize, and have efficient life, the latest version of Android is now coming to more realme devices.

Realme UI 1.0 was praised for its trendsetting design, easily operatable and smooth, plenty of features, and system stability for the young worldwide.

Realme UI 2.0 has proven to further improve the smoothness of the device on selected realme phones like the realme X50 Pro 5G, along with a few Narzo devices while a number of devices are already running on the early access version of the OS.

New realme UI 2.0 Open Beta Status

The new roadmap confirms eight realme phones eligible for early access beta of realme UI 2.0.

The list includes realme C15 Qualcomm edition and realme 5 Pro scheduled for May and June of 2021 respectively.

Other devices like the realme X2, realme 6, realme C12, and realme C15 are already running on early access programs.

realme 7 joins realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 Open Beta Access

Interested realme 7 owners can also dive into the Open beta program to experience the new UI before the stable version is ready.

Users will need to apply for the open beta through the Settings>Software update, go to the gear menu in the top right corner, select “trial version”.

Make sure you have over 5GB of free storage and at least 60% of battery charge before you begin.

Realme 7 can be regarded as the global version of the Realme X7 Series. The company had launched Realme 7 along with Realme 7 Pro. Realme 7 is the successor to Realme 6. It is the first phone to have the latest gaming-centric chipset by MediaTek. Let's get to know more about the phone.

Realme 7 Overview

Design and Display

At the front, Realms 7 features a 6.5 inches IPS LCD display that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Unlike the Pro variant, it comes with a 90Hz refresh rate. And is bundled with 2400 × 1080p resolution. It has a punch-hole cutout at the top left which houses the selfie camera. At the rear, Realme 7 has a straight line that goes across the camera bump. It also divides the rear panel into two different color schemes similar to the Pro version.

Camera

The camera setup at the rear is also the same as the Pro version. Realme 7, at the rear, has a Quad camera setup with a 64MP Sony IMX682 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth lens. Likewise, at the front, Realme 7 features a 16MP Sony IMX 471 selfie shooter with a 2.1 aperture.

Performance and Battery

Realme 7 runs on the Android 10 OS. It is the first phone to have been launched with the latest chipset of Mediatek i.e. Helio G95. It will be available in 2 variants with the configurations 6GB RAM/ 64GB Storage and 8GB RAM/ 128GB Storage.
Talking about the battery, Realme 7 has a 5000mAh. The phone comes with 30W fast-charging support unlike the 65W fast Dart charging of its Pro version.
