With a starting price of INR 5.71 Lakh, Citroen has introduced the C3, its first mass-market model, in India.
The C3 is the French automaker's second vehicle available in India, and it is marketed as a B-segment hatchback with SUV styling cues.
The Citroen C3 is built on the organization's C-Cubed platform, which will give rise to a number of new vehicles produced in India.
Citroen's distinctive design, characterized by the bonnet's high position and a front end constructed to accentuate the feeling of breadth, makes the new C3's style entirely clear.
The Citroen C3 has a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system that works with Apple Carplay and Android Auto, manual air conditioning, a four-speaker sound system, steering-mounted controls, a digital meter cluster, and front and rear USB charging connections, among other things.
The Citroen C3 is offered in four mono-tone and six dual-tone colors. It also offers two interior trims.
The Citroen C3 gets two petrol engine options: an 82 hp, 115 Nm, three-cylinder, naturally aspirated unit that is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox, and a 110 hp, 190 Nm, three-cylinder turbo-petrol unit that comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
The turbo-petrol engine is the most powerful unit in its class. The option of a DCT is likely to be offered in the future.
