The authorized distributor of MG automobiles in Nepal, Paramount Motors, intends to increase its production. MG Astor will be an all-new SUV, packed with modern styling with many interesting features.

Engine and Performance

The 1.5L VTi-TECH and 1.4L 220TURBO engines are available for the MG Astor.

A 1498cc, 4-cylinder, Petrol engine powers the 1.5L VTi-TECH engine. It has a maximum power of 110 PS at 6000rpm and a maximum torque of 144 Nm at 4400rpm.

It is also equipped with a 48-liter fuel tank and a 5-speed manual or CVT powertrain.

Similarly, the 1349cc, 3-cylinder, Petrol engine powers the 1.4L 220TURBO engine. It has a maximum power of 140PS at 5600rpm and a maximum torque of 220 Nm at 3600rpm.

It is also equipped with a 6-speed AT gearbox and a 45-liter gasoline tank.

Design

The bold and graceful curves of the MG Astor attempt to impress.

It is similar to every previous MG car, notably in terms of characteristic MG components and sporty detailing.

The front part is outfitted with Full LED Hawkeye Headlamps and LED DRLs. Furthermore, the eye-catching designs on the central Bold Celestial Grille demand attention.

Surprisingly, the bonnet has a sloping design typical of previous MG vehicles.

Additionally, MG Astor will be available in five different colors: Orange, Silver, Red, White, and Black.

Interior

The inside has Dual-Tone premium accents with a Premium Leather finish.

Inside, you will notice a Personal AI Assistant.

MG Astor Price in Nepal 

In terms of pricing, the MG Astor price in Nepal is currently being considered.

Nevertheless, there are four variants available in the Indian market: Style, Super, Smart, and Sharp. MG Nepal can introduce all of or some of those variants.

The launch program was followed by the most awaited price unveiling and the commencement of vehicle delivery to customers.

The event also marked the collaboration between the Zonta Club of Kathmandu and Paramount Motors Pvt. Ltd. As a part of its CSR initiative, Paramount Motors Pvt. Ltd. has handed over Rs.10 lakhs under its corporate social responsibility program to help the Zonta Club of Kathmandu.

Zonta Club of Kathmandu will utilize this fund to produce awareness campaigns on the importance of speaking up against domestic violence, work/public harassment, and child marriage.

Paramount Motors Pvt. Ltd., the sole authorized distributor of MG Motors in Nepal, handed over the cheque to the Zonta Club of Kathmandu during an MOU signing ceremony held on the same day.

Paramount Motors Pvt. Ltd., the sole authorized distributor of MG Motors in Nepal, has officially launched the MG ZS EV 2022 in its Naxal showroom today. 

The MG ZS EV 2022 is equipped with a powered driver's seat automatic headlights and wipers, connected car technology, six airbags, hill start, descent control all- wheeldisc brakes, tyre pressure monitoring system, and electronic stability control.

The charging port is placed next to the MG badge. And it also features mobile wireless charging blind-spot monitoring, a 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, and lane-keep assist. 

MG ZS EV 2022 comes with a new update in its interior and exterior. The interior of the MG zs EV 2022 is designed with a 10.1inch touchscreen infotainment system with a 7-inch digital driver's display identical.

It has a rotary-dial gear knob, driving mode, and braking regeneration. It comes with headlamps, integrated LED DRLs and LED taillamps.

MG ZS EV 2022 has a high level of safety is partly due to the extensive range of  advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) with automatic emergency braking, grouped together under the name MG Pilot.

It is powered bY a PMSM Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) with a power of 130KW and 280 Nm of torque. It can reach from 0 to 100 kmph in 8.5 seconds. The ground clearance of EV is 175 mm.

MG signature global design cues and comes loaded with features such as a panoramic sunroof,17-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, PM 2.5 Filter, and more.  

MG ZS EV available in two variants - Standard Range and Long Range.

The MG ZS EV 2022 is available in two battery pack options; one with a 51.5 kWh Hi-Tech battery with a range of 319KM  and another with a 72.6 kWh battery with a range of 440KM single charge.

MG ZS EV price in Nepal

The price of Standard range is NPR 51.99 lakh where as price of long range is NPR 59.99 lakh.
