WhatsApp will turn into a dummy app if the users don’t accept the new privacy policy.

WhatsApp had earlier given an ultimatum to users that the users will have to accept the new privacy policy before May 15 in order to continue using the app.
The users had been dreading the day of May 15 as they thought they would lose their accounts. But according to last updates related to the privacy policy it seems like users won’t lose their accounts after all.
While your accounts may not be deleted WhatsApp will limit some functions if users don’t accept the
policy. The users will keep receiving reminders for weeks and if the policy is accepted by then, the app will become completely useless like a dummy app without any basic features.
WhatsApp will let users answer voice and video calls but not the chat list in the initial period.
After a few weeks you will stop getting WhatsApp calls, messages and even the notifications about them, after receiving countless notifications.
The reminder which asks users to accept the policy that occasionally pops up will appear permanently on your display whenever you open the messaging app. The reminder will practically bar the users from accessing anything on the app and the only way to get rid of that is to tap on the “Accept” button.
