Apple is expected to release the third-generation AirPods this year, but the second-generation AirPods Pro will not be available until 2022.

According to reports, the new AirPods Pro will most likely include health tracking features. The AirPods Pro will also have a new design and improved motion sensors to help with health tracking features. Apple has not made the AirPods Pro's release date public; it is still a mystery.

According to Bloomberg, Apple may abandon the stem design entirely and opt for a design similar to the Galaxy Buds. According to some reports, the stem will be retained in the next AirPods Pro, but it will be shorter than in the previous model.

Previously, analyst Ming Chi Kuo predicted that Apple AirPods sales would fall by nearly 25% this year. He attributed the drop in sales to increased competition and loss of market share.

In his note to investors, Kuo suggested that Apple include some health tracking features to differentiate their TWS earbuds from the crowd.

“Apple's products have a competitive advantage in that they integrate the "hardware, software, and service" ecosystem, not just hardware.

Because of the strong ecosystem of the App Store and developers, the iPhone, for example, has seen its market share decline due to the rapid growth of the smartphone market, but it has been able to maintain shipment growth. We believe that Siri is at the heart of AirPods' software and service ecosystem, but because Siri's competitive advantage is minor, the gap between AirPods' and its competitors' leading edges narrows due to a lack of ecosystem protection as competitors gradually improve their user experience and launch lower-price strategies at the same time. We believe that shipments of the HomePod and HomePod mini were significantly lower than expected for the same reason,” he explained.

As a result, the AirPods Pro, which are expected to be released in 2022, could include an optical heart rate sensor or an advanced biometric sensor to track things like temperature, heart rate, perspiration levels, and more. The AirPods 3 will, on the other hand, be available this year.

New Apple Airpods in town. Apple yesterday announced their latest Airpods, the Apple Airpods Pro. New feature of this Airpods is the much anticipated Noise Canceling feature and a new design than its predecessors.

The new Airpods Pro feature a new design which is a angled nozzles that seal to the ear canal making it better in noise canceling. The Airpods Pro are still lightweight and comes with three pairs of silicon to fit all ears. It also features a cutout that equalizes pressure inside the ear for long comfortable listening experience. The new generation Airpods are also sweat resistant to avoid water damage.

 

 

Talking about the Noise- canceling feature, the Airpods Pro uses two microphones in the Airpods coupled with specialized software to cancel out the unwanted noises. The Airpods Pro uses disruptive interference technique to cancel out unwanted noise by listening to the environment using the above-mentioned two mics and acting accordingly.

Apple has also integrated a new feature in the Airpods Pro which is Adaptive EQ. The Airpods will automatically adjust low and mid-range frequency according to the shape of the users ear. Not only that Airpods Pro continues to support hands free access to Siri and connection stability.

The new Airpods Pro is available for pre-order for $249 and is planned to be released on October 30.

Apple recently launched the online Apple Store in India. Apple now gives the option to Indian customers shopping from the Apple Store to personalize products by getting text or emojis engraved on them at no additional cost. Customers have to select the ‘add free engraving’ option after they have selected the product they want to purchase from the Apple Store. They can then add information about the personalization as per their preference. Customers can get emojis, names, initials, phone number, or date engraved as per their preference.

After entering the required information, customers can checkout paying only for the product they purchased as all the engravings are free. They can get these engravings on AirPods Pro, AirPods with Wireless Charging Case, AirPods with Charging Case, iPad Pro, iPad Air, iPad, iPad mini, Apple Pencil (2nd generation), and iPod touch.
“Add a personal touch or special message to AirPods, Apple Pencil (2nd generation), iPad, and iPod touch with free engraving. And now with all-new options available for AirPods, you can choose from Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Tamil, Kannada, Gujarati, Telugu, English, or even emojis. Only at Apple,” Apple’s website reads.

Customers can also personalize Apple products if they plan on gifting it to someone. Alternatively, they can send the products in a gift-wrapped box and customized card, or a special message on the packing slip.

In India, Apple launched its online Apple Store in September and now delivers the products to the customers without the involvement of any third party, as it did so previously.
Apple also unveiled Apple One bundled subscriptions in India in October. Apple gives six services under the Apple One subscription such as Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, Apple News+, Apple Fitness+, and iCloud. The Apple Fitness+ powered by Apple Watch will be available later in 2020.

The individual plan subscription for Apple One comes for Rs 195 per month and gives Apple Music, Apple TV Plus, Apple Arcade along with 50 GB storage of iCloud. The family plan for Apple One subscription comes for Rs 365 per month and gives Apple TV Plus, Apple Arcade, and 200GB of iCloud storage that can be shared with up to six family members.
