According to inside sources, Huawei is going to introduce a revolutionary new laptop on August 19. The revolutionary part is the display. It will feature 3K resolution and razor-thin bezels.

And by razor-thin bezels, we really do mean razor-thin. The report claims that Huawei is calling it "floating full-screen" design without any bezels. It would break the constraints of the physical frame and offer immersive and clear visuals.

And as for Honor, the same source points at a new MagicBook SE targeted at office users and students who are looking for something on a budget. However, the MagicBook SE won't be announced on the same event and will eventually be revealed during a separate event in the near future.

Powering the device is the flagship grade HiSilicon Kirin 980 chipset which is bundled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Graphics of the phone is handled by Mali-G76 MP10 GPU and comes with GPU Turbo 3.0 software for smoother gaming experience even while playing  high-end demanding games. On the battery side, device packs a 3750mAh battery which supports 22.5-watt SuperCharge charging the phone up to 50% in just 24 minutes.  Other feature of the phone includes side mounted finger-print sensor and Face Unlock feature.

According to a new report, 2019 was very fruitful for the company even though it saw many hardships and came out stronger. In fact so strong that, Huawei became 2^nd largest OEM in 2019 displacing Apple from the position.

In 2019 despite the Geo-Political trade ban, Huawei’s overall performance was solid growing its market share from 14% in 2018 to 16% in 2019 while Apple’s market share declined from 14% from last year to 13% this year. Despite the market share decline, Apple’s year over year revenue was up for the first time since September of 2018. This data accounts for the overall growth between Calendar Year 2018 and 2019.

But talking about the Q4 of 2019, we see an increase in market share of Apple from 17% to 18% and a decrease in the market share of Huawei from 15% to 14%. Even though Huawei is in 2^nd position due to good performance between Calendar Year 2018 and 2019 just falling a little short in Q4 of 2019. Will Huawei be able to continue being in the 2^nd position which it has recently acquired? Reports of Q1 2020 will tell.
