Yatri announces new project : Dual sport motorcycle P-1

The team of Yatri Motorcycle has announced the latest development of yet another new platform, Project One (P-1).

Ahead of the unveiling of P-0 on Baisakh 10 (April 23), Yatri announced the production of dual sport motorcycle P-1.

Pictures of P-1 were released throughYatri's Facebook and a teaser video for same has been released on their YouTube channel as well.

P-1 is lightweight, super agile with great suspension, and built for the roads of Nepal

With the arrival of P-1, Yatri's mission is to reinvent the urban mobility landscape is truly underway, as expressed in their Facebook post.

They have received a huge amount of positive reactions to this new announcement.

Some have commented the design to be completely suitable, while some feel the need for some more modifications. 

P-1 is expected to receive the same level of adoration from the public as P-0 has received. 

P-0 which is to be unveiled on Friday offers market-leading 230 km of range, hair-raising performance with a 48 kW (64 hp) drivetrain, and over-the-air software updates that keep refreshing P-0 over time. 

Price

Project one will be a high-end offering at a high price. In terms of pricing, the Project One (P1) price in Nepal is Rs. 5,65,000.

About Yatri Motorcycles

Ashim Pandey, the man behind the bike founded a company named Yatri in 2017. He and his team designed the first prototype, which has been unveiled on the 19th of December. The bike’s body is made from 100% carbon fiber making it lightweight so that the bike can reach a top speed of 120 km/hr. The company states that the parts were incorporated from different countries such as the USA, India, China and other European nations as it would cost a huge sum of money if manufactured in Nepal. Yatri Bike Charging time and Single Charge Distance

The full charging time of Yatri is 2 Hours and is Capable to cover up to 230 KM in Single Charge.

The company has also developed a Yatri Hub app. It is connected to the 7 inches full HD display at the center of the handlebar. It not only shows the speed, time and operating temperature but also shows the money you are saving switching to Project Zero and going green. Though, the yatri bike price has not been revealed yet by the team.

Okinawa: New Electric Bike coming soon in Nepal

"The Okinawa brand, which has been preparing to be brought to Nepal since last year, has not been able to come to Nepal yet. However, Fortuna Automobile, the official distributor of Okinawa for Nepal, has completed the process including registration."

Okinawa has started producing motorcycles. The company, which has been manufacturing only electric scooters till now, will now manufacture motorcycles.

The Okinawa brand, which has been preparing to be brought to Nepal since last year, has not been able to come to Nepal yet. However, Fortuna Automobile, the official distributor of Okinawa for Nepal, has completed the process including registration of electric scooters.

Sales of electric motorcycles and scooters are increasing in the Indian market. At the same time, new companies are increasingly producing electric scooters and motorcycles. The company has stated that the Okinawa brand will come to the Nepali market in the next decade.

Okinawa, an electric scooter manufacturer established as an Indian start-up company, has stated that it will launch an electric motorcycle in the near future. The motorcycle made by the company is OK100. It is said to generate power of 125 cc motorcycle.

According to the Oki100 concept motorcycle, it will have a 72 volt 63 Ah lithium-ion battery. Its top speed will be 100 kilometers per hour. The company claims that it can travel 150 kilometers on a single full charge. This scooter with fast charging facility is fully charged in 2 hours when charged from household electricity.

It has a fully digital instrument console. In addition, it will have a smart connect facility. Features like mono channel ABS, LED headlamps and taillamps, double discs.

According to the company, the motorcycle will be manufactured using local resources. The company has stated that only batteries will be imported goods. The company says it will unveil the motorcycle in November 2020.

"Revolt expands sales of electric motorcycles"

Indian electric two-wheeler company Revolt IntelliCorp has started increasing sales of its products RV400 and RV300 electric motorcycles.

The company had started selling these motorcycles in 2019 in Delhi and Pune. Now the company has started selling these motorcycles in other cities as well. The company said plans to sell the motorcycles in other cities have been pushed back due to the COVID 19 infection, but regular sales will now begin.

The Revolt RV400 has a 3.24 kWh lithium-ion battery. The company claims that this motorcycle will provide a range of 156 kilometers on a single full charge.

Similarly, RV 300 has a 1.5 kW capacity battery pack. This motorcycle has been certified by AAI to provide a range of up to 180 kilometers on a single full charge.

Some business houses are trying to bring these electric motorcycles produced in the Indian market to Nepal.
