2020 Honda City To Debut November; India Launch At Auto Expo 2020

The fifth-gen Honda City is all set to make its world premiere this month in Thailand. It will get a complete exterior makeover along with a plethora of advanced features. The sedan has already been spotted testing several times albeit with heavy camouflage.
Honda City has dominated the C-segment of sedans in the Indian market for several years which already comprises of the likes of Maruti Ciaz, Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Vento, and Toyota Yaris.
2020 Honda City, it will flaunt the Japanese automaker's latest global design language. The exterior will boast of sharper LED headlamps with daytime running lights (DRLs) and a sporty bumper. There will be a broader air inlet and a narrow rea portion with a sensational LED tail lamp cluster.
The company might well also increase the overall dimensions of the new City sedan to increase the cabin space. The cabin is believed to feature a new digital instrument console and a larger touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Mechanically, it will be offered with a petrol and diesel engine with direct injection technology. Both the engines will be BS 6 certified while an all-new 6-speed manual gearbox will be introduced with petrol models. The diesel variants could come with a CVT unit as an option. In addition, a petrol-hybrid i-MMD (intelligent Multi-Mode Drive) might debut in India too.
