8 Tips to Beat the Heat

13th August 2019
"Warm air increases the stress levels which might turn up to be a serious thing, especially while you are driving."

Summers on its way and the cars are going to be hot. The hot air increases the stress levels, which might turn up to be a serious thing, especially while you are driving. Just turning the Air Conditioner would be of no help as it only circulates the air within the hot cabin. We are here to help you avoid such a summer bummer.

1) Cleaning the AC Condenser

AC condenser is situated right in front of the car behind the grill. Opening the front bonnet and pouring some chilled water can give you a chilling air.

2) Turn on your fans

Opening your AC to maximum limits would not help you get a cool cabin in summers. Instead of that, turn up your car fan to full limits and when you do that, open all your windows. This way the hot air inside the cabin blows out. You can the turn on your AC and close the windows for a cool cabin in summer.

3) Cleaning the AC Filter

AC filter is situated somewhere within the dash of the cabin. You can take it out and clean it with a wet mob. The filter is made out of paper, so you must be a little careful. The dust and dirt often blocks the passing air. This way, the air passes uninterruptedly.

4) Window Pump

When your cabin is too hot to sit inside, you can open a window and get out of the car. Open the door which is right opposite to the window you opened. You can now open and close the door rapidly that acts as a pump to get all the hot air out of the cabin.

5) Trunk Pump

Trunk pump is similar to the window pump but twice as effective. Open all four doors of the car and the trunk door. Now open and close the trunk twice and “poof!” hot air disappears from your cabin.

6) Reflector Screen

Reflector screen is a kind of sheet you can put in the windshield that reflects the sunrays and does not let the heat inside your car. You can get such sheets in any car accessory shop near your home.

7) Air Curtain

Air Curtain is also a plastic sheet that can be hung in your trunk making it smaller. Smaller space retain little amount of hot air making your car cabin cool for a drive.

8) Rain Visor

Rain visor protects your car cabin from rain. Also, rain visor allows you to open an inch of your window for the air to enter in just the right amount.

Hope these tips will help you cool down your car in no time. Drive safe!
