After Foldable phones, rollable phones from SONY !

Foldable phones is considered to be the next popular trend in Smartphone Industry and in the past couple of months we got to see different takes on it. Samsung and Huawei are two of the big names currently developing flagship foldable phones. But Sony on the other hand is thinking ahead of them and is taking a different approach than folding a phone in half.

Sony is reportedly working on a device that features a so-called Nautilus Design which allows the device to roll up the screen to a scroll. Max J. on Twitter along with the video of the screen rolling also twitted the specs of the prototype device which includes 3220 mAh battery, SM7250 SoC, LG Display, and 10x Zoom Camera. However, he also mentioned retail versions could offer the Snapdragon 855 chipset and a Qualcomm X50 5G modem.

 

Sony is working on a competitor to the Galaxy Fold and Mate X.

The retail models may feature:

Qualcomm X50 Modem
