Kishor Gear is planning on launching one of the latest hybrid luxury cars, Range Rover P 400 in Nepal.
The Director of Company, Kishor Bade Shrestha states that “We will be bringing the Range Rover P 400 in Nepal within few days.”
This premium luxury vehicle is powered by 2.0-liter turbocharged engine which produces 296 bhp power and 400 Nm torque. The electric motor in this SUV provides 114 bhp power and 275 Nm torque.
When both the engine and motor is used at the same time the pickup of 398 bhp power and 640 Nm torque is generated. The SUV has a four-wheel option and 8-speed automatic gearbox. This hybrid model can reach 60 kmph from start just within 6.4 seconds.
The battery in this SUV is a 13.1 KW lithium-ion battery. It can be charged at home with the 7 KW AC charger. The battery will be fully charged within 10 hours. However, DC fast charger can charge it within 3 hours. The company states that the car when drove from the electric motor can give a range of 50 kilometers.
