GBG BizFest and BizStart happening on December 28 | Free Entry

Google Business Group Kathmandu is fully prepped to host GBG BizFest and Bizstart 2019. This is the second edition of BizFest, very first one was held in January of 2019. Nepal’s biggest startup meet and expo will start on December 28 and venue is set at DAV school premises located in Jawalakhel, Lalitpur.

Google Business Group (GBG) is a non-profit community of business professionals to share knowledge about web technologies for business success. It has over 150 local communities or chapters in various cities including: Mumbai, Bangalore, Belgaum, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Chennai, Buenos Aires, Davao, Cape Town, Rio de Janeiro, Yaba, Lekki, Ikeja, Peshawar, Lahore e.t.c spanning across 30 countries around the world. The initiative was started by and is backed by Google, but driven by local chapter managers and the community members to connect, learn and impact overall success of their businesses; it is independent from the Google Corporation.

GBG Kathmandu is a community of Business professionals with a mission to spread awareness among offline businesses about the benefit of Internet and online services that can help them to add values to their businesses. It also aims to help entrepreneurs, IT professionals, students and other enthusiasts by sharing knowledge about latest web technologies that can boost up their businesses.

What is GBG BizFest?

GBG BizFest is an annual event offering an opportunity to learn new strategies to help you grow your business in 2019. it is the first and only, technology and business exhibition in Nepal. This annual meetup brings experts, dreamers, and players from the technology, business, and other industry sectors together for one-day sessions, workshops, and quality exhibition of the startups.

Talking about the startups, BizStart will also take place along side BizFest in which a series of special tech-focused workshops will be delivered by experts. Visiters will be able to listen to leading individuals of the industry and be a part of discussion whcih includes Google’s suite of online marketing (Google Analytics and Google Ads).

 

Both GBG BizFest & Bizstart 2019 are free to attend events for the public.
