New Foldable phone, Huawei Mate Xs could be cheaper than its predecessor Mate X

Huawei Mate X was the first foldable phone from Huawei and the company is due to unveil their next foldable phone, Huawei Mate Xs in March. Mate Xs which is the next foldable phone from Huawei is going to be an improved version of Mate X.

As for Specs, Huawei Mate Xs is expected to sport the latest Kirin 990 chipset, with 5G support. And according to new leaks, the Huawei Mate Xs price is going to be cheaper than its predecessor Mate X price all thanks to the improved production process. Additionally, the device is said to come with better hinge design and an improved display. Yu Chengdong, the CEO of Huawei, stated that the Mate Xs will be available in February 2020 and will arrive with a better processor, improved display and an upgraded hinge mechanism. Hence, the upcoming foldable smartphone will be powered by HiSilicon’s Kirin 990 5G SoC.

Further more, Huawei has made various adjsutment in the design of the Mate Xs to make it more sturdier than its predecessor. The hinge is said to be stronger, the folding screen is more sturdy, the entire body is made more durable and the device has a smaller form factor than the Mate X.
