MediaTek announces Dimensity 1000, SoC with integrated 5G

Mediatek is doing great lately. After partnering with Intel to make 5G modems for PCs news, company is in news again for announcing its new 7nm Dimensity 1000 5G chipset. This chipset comes with an integrated 5G modem, 4 x ARM Cortex-A77 performance cores and the Mali-G77 GPU.
SoC also passed through AnTuTu, a benchmarking tool in which got a combined score of 511,363. On paper it is overall is higher than Snapdragon 855+ equipped devices and Apple’s A13 Bionic iPhones. Phone to first use this chip has not been announced yet but Mediatek revealed the first phones to utilize it should appear in Q1 2020.
