Moto 360 3rd Gen coming soon but not by Motorola

29th October 2019
"eBuyNow, a Canadian company is developing the third generation of Moto 360"

Can Moto 360 be called a Moto 360, if it is not made by Motorola ? We dont know, but according to a report from The Verge, eBuyNow, a Canadian company is developing the third generation of Moto 360 and new version of the iconic smartwatch is always welcome.

According to the same report, Motorola is not part of the development. But as eBuynow is developing the product we can assume it must have the legal licensing to relaunch a smartwatch line it didn’t initially develop.

From the looks of the image, Moto 360 3rd Gen looks very similar to its predecessor with minor changes like two buttons on the left side instead of just one. The top button can rotate for easy UI navigation and the bottom button can launch any app assigned by the user.

It features a 1.2-inch 360 x 360 circular OLED display Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 3100 processor, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of storage and also has a heart rate monitor, GPS, and NFC for mobile payments. The smartwatch will be available in three colors: silver, rose gold, or black stainless steel finish. The device will have a 355mAh battery which can be charged by the included charging cradle. eBuyNow says the device can be charged from 0 to 100% in just one hour.

Talking about the pricing, the Moto 360 3rd Gen is priced at $350, and will be available for preorder in November at moto.360.com.
