Oppo Ace 2 With Quad Rear Cameras, 65W Fast Charging Launched: Price, Specification

Oppo Ace 2 smartphone was launched in China on 13th April. The company has decided to remove the ‘Reno' branding from the successor. The Oppo Ace 2 features a similar design to the OnePlus 7T from last year. The rear panel features a circular oreo-shaped module with a premium look. The front panel features a punch-hole cutout display with an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Oppo Ace 2 specification

The display of the Oppo Ace 2 is a 6.5-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels with a PPI of 402. It features a 90Hz refresh rate with a touch sampling rate of 180Hz with support for HDR10+, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and more. Also, the display comes with protection from the Corning Gorilla Glass 6 on the front, and Gorilla Glass 5 on the back.

The camera on the Oppo Ace 2 is a quad-camera setup which includes, a primary 48MP Omni-directional PDAF lens with an aperture of f/1.7, an 8MP ultrawide lens with an aperture of f/2.2, a 2MP Macro lens and a 2MP depth (B/W) sensor. Meanwhile, the front is a 16-megapixel selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.0, placed in a punch-hole cutout at the top left corner of the smartphone.

Oppo Ace 2 comes with the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 processor coupled with 8/12GB of RAM and 128/256GB of UFS 3.0 storage. The highlight of this smartphone is the wireless charging support. The Oppo Ace 2 supports 40W AirVOOC wireless charging, 10W reverse wireless charging, and 65W SuperVOOC Flash Charge wired fast-charging coupled with a 4,000mAh battery. The color variants available are Fantasy Purple, Lunar Rock Gray, and Aurora Silver.
