Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro Launched in Nepal | Price and Specs

Redmi Note 7 Pro is one of the most popular mid-range phone by Xiaomi. And Xiaomi is back with yet another bang for your buck smartphones, the Redmi Note 8 series.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro has officially been launched on the 20th of November 2019 and is available from all authorized stores as well as online eCommerce platforms. 

 

Redmi Note 8 Overview

Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 features a 6.3-inch LCD display with the resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and ppi count of ~409. The display comes with a  water-drop camera cut-out housing a 13 MP, f/2.0, 1.12µm selfie camera. 

 

 

On the back, Note 8 houses a quad-camera setup accompanied by fingerprint sensor placed in the middle portion of the body. The quad-camera setup includes 48MP main sensor, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor. Here are some photo samples taken by Redmi Note 8.

 

 

Note 8 is powered by a Snapdragon 665 chipset bundled with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal memory. The Two variants are launched in Nepal: 4/64GB and 6/128GB and is priced at Nrs.20,999 and 23,999 respectively.

Redmi Note 8 Pro Overview

Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro is the bigger and better brother of Note 8 and comes with a  6.53-inch Full-HD+ LTPS LCD display with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixel and aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Pixel count comes at ~395 ppi. The  water-drop camera cut-out of the display houses a 20 MP, f/2.0 selfie camera. 

 

 

One of the main highlight of the device is the quad camera setup. The device comes with 64MP Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor coupled with an 8MP ultrawide, a 2MP depth sensor and a dedicated 2MP macro sensor with a flash. Accompanying the camera is the finger-print sensor which is housed in the same camera bump.  

 

Other highlights of the Note 8 Pro is the game centric  Octa-Core Helio G90T processor bundled with 6/8GB RAM and 64/128GB of internal storage. The phone also features a massive  4500 mAh battery supporting 18W Fast  charging. Three variants of the phone are available:  6/64GB, 6/128GB and 8GB/128GB priced at Nrs. 26,999, 29,999 and 32,999 respectively.
