ROG Phone 2 confirmed to have a 120Hz display

Republic of Gamers or ROG for short is widely known for their gaming laptops. But last year they launched ROG Phone, which was one of the first gaming phone from the company as well as the market. Now with the announcement of ROG Phone 2, gaming phones are getting much better. ROG Phone 2 will have a 120Hz display which beats out the OnePlus 7 Pro's 90Hz refresh rate and matches the Razer Phone 2's rate.

 

 

Courtesy of ASUS's Weibo account we were able to get the first bit of news about the ROG Phone 2. ASUS's announced partnership with Tencent's "Under One Person" webcomic-based game via Weibo account which will be the first to fully take advantage of the upcoming phone's 120Hz display followed by more games. ASUS also revealed that the upcoming ROG Phone II will be using Qualcomm's just-announced Snapdragon 855 Plus. There are no words on when the phone will debut but we expect announcement of release date in following weeks.
