Samsung Galaxy A30 is the younger brother of the Samsung Galaxy A50. And it is one of the new members of the Samsung Galaxy A series, that has been reimagined for 2019. Although, the Samsung Galaxy A30 was launched on just about 2 weeks ago, for about Rs. 28,490 the Samsung is discounting it already.

 

 

 

Galaxy A30 has an FHD+ Super AMOLED display. This display is the same in that of the Galaxy A50, and it will be the best display in this price category without question. It packs Samsung’s very own Exynos 7904 SOC. This is a lower end processor with similar performance to that of the Snapdragon 630. Do not expect this to be a gaming beast, but it can handle most tasks. The processor is paired with 4 GB of RAM, which can handle most of the multitasking you throw at it. You have a 64GB ROM to store all your personal files and apps.

At the back, you have a glass-like finish that shimmers under a light. A fingerprint magnet in our opinion! The dual camera setup combines a 16MP primary lens with a 5MP ultra-wide lens. An okay-ish camera setup on paper. There’s also a fingerprint sensor at the back of this phone.

 

 

 

 

This phone is powered by 4000mAh non-removable battery and will support Samsung’s fast charging speeds. It also supports USB-C connectivity.

Overall, the Samsung Galaxy A30 is an amazing phone for its price of Rs. 26,990. The screen is breathtaking (as all Samsung phones) and the performance and the cameras are mid-tier.
