Samsung Galaxy Tab S6: Price and Specs

Galaxy Note10 unpacked event is scheduled next week but before that Samsung held a pre-event to unveil the latest S series tablet named Galaxy Tab S6. Tab S6 is the sucessor of Tab S4 which was launched in 2018.

 

 

Front of the device features a massive 10.5-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600. Even though the display size and resolution is similar to Tab S4, the device’s overall size has shrunk down making it smaller tablet than the S4 with similar display. An 8MP selfie camera also can be found in the front which supports facial recognition.

On the back, for the first time Samsung has Implemented a dual camera setup in a tablet. The Galaxy Tab S6 features a 13MP primary sensor and a 5MP depth sensor. It also has four AKG-tuned speakers, a USB-C port, and a rear-mounted groove just beneath the camera that magnetically keeps the S Pen attached as well as charges it.

 

 

Talking about the internals, Tab S6 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor which comes with either 6 or 8GB of RAM and 128 or 256GB of expandable storage. Juicing the device is a 7,040mAh battery and runs on Android 9 Pie underneath One UI. Other feature includes support for Samsung Dex and Bixby, four pogo pins to use with the optional keyboard cover.

The Galaxy Tab S6 will be avialable in three colors: Cloud Blue, Rose Blush, and Mountain Grey. The tablet will also come in Wi-Fi-only and LTE variants. The price of the device starts at $650 without the keyboard cover(~NPR. 72,000) if you want the cover it will be additional $180 making it total $830 which is approximately equivalent to NPR. 92,000.
