Samsung to open display manufacturing plant worth $500 million in India

Samsung’s plan to open a display manufacturing facility in India is not a new news. According to the new development, Samsung is moving forward with the plan as the company got approved for manufacturing from the Indian Government.

The manufacturing plant is estimated to be worth $500 million and will be located in Noida, close to Samsung's biggest smartphone manufacturing facility in the world. Samsung will proceed with the investment starting in April of 2020. The plant will start with manufacturing display for smartphones including all the necessary parts and accessories than will move to manufacturing display for TVs and laptops. Samsung plans to hit 120 million manufactured units in the country.
