Telenet hosts product roadshow of Alibaba Cloud

Telenet, a leading information technology company and value-added service provider in Nepal, hosted a product roadshow on December 16, 2019, Kathmandu about Alibaba Cloud, the data intelligence backbone of Alibaba Group, to help local partners and customers get a deeper understanding of cloud computing technologies. Themed “Accelerate your Growth”, the roadshow presented a wide range of products and solutions offered by Alibaba Cloud to the market. Using Alibaba Cloud products, Telenet hopes to provide a one-stop solution encompassing technical support, consulting, training, cloud migration and ecosystem integration to the Nepal market.

During the roadshow, the companies showcased how businesses can use popular cloud computing products such as Elastic Compute Services (ECS), CDN, Networking, Database, Image Search, Short Message Services to transform their operations effectively on Cloud thereby raising productivity and reducing business cost. All of the products offered by Alibaba Cloud have been proven effective with Alibaba Group’s various business units’ activities, encompassing eCommerce, fin-tech, logistics, media and entertainment, and digital branding and marketing. Noteworthy, these products and solutions are also part of the fundamental technology infrastructure that supported Alibaba Group’s 2019 Global Shopping Festival, which generated USD38.4 billion of GMV in 24 hours with zero downtime.
