What is Smart home or Home Automation? According to Investopedia , "Smart home is a convenient home setup where appliances and devices can be automatically controlled remotely from any internet-connected place in the world using a mobile or other networked device. A smart home has its devices interconnected through the internet, and the user can control functions such as security access to the home, temperature, lighting, and home theater."
With Smart home integration all the electrical equipments can be controlled by your phone. You can turn on your room lights before even entering your home or open your gate without even stepping down from your vehicle. Automation has made life much easier. There are many other things to worry about than worrying, "Did I turn off my lights before leaving or is my gate secure?"

Imagine you are on a holiday and plannning to watch a movie which you were unable to watch couple of months ago. You switch on your TV than your sound system, DVD player, close your lights, close your curtains than finally sit to watch the movie. Automation allows all that with just a few taps on your mobile phone. Then that product will do all the predefinded tasks for that scenario. Taking the same example, automation product will switch on your TV, Sound System, DVD player, Close all your lights and curtains and any other task you customized at the same time with just a few taps.
