Vivo Y12 Announced

Vivo is one of the strongest players in the Indian smartphone industry having a market share of 12%. Vivo has recently launched another device with a triple camera setup on the back, a water-drop notch display, and a 5000mAh battery.

The Vivo Y12 is the newest entry to the budget Phone segment. Vivo Y12 has the similar external design to the Y17 or Y15, shiny and reflective polycarbonate back which appears to be glass, a 6.35-inch “Halo FullView” display with a resolution of 720x1544p and a screen-to-body ratio of 89%.

On the rear, the device features a triple camera setup with a 13MP primary camera, an 8MP wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, an 8MP selfie shooter resides within the water-drop notch. The camera supports features like voice and hand gesture control, portrait mode, Live photo, AI beautification, slo-mo, timelapse, HDR, etc.

The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with an Ultra Gaming Mode for smooth and immersive gameplay. Talking about the software the device runs Vivo’s custom skin – FunTouch  OS 9 – based on Android 9 Pie.
