Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi unveiled

In addition to the Yamaha FZ-X, India Yamaha Motor has unveiled the new Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid. The new Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid is driven by a BS-VI compliant, air-cooled, fuel-injected 125cc blue core engine that delivers 8.2bhp@6,500rpm and 10.3Nm@5,000rpm and is available with both disc and drum brakes.
A Smart Motor Generator System comes standard on the new Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid. When you accelerate from a stop, the SMG acts as an electric motor, eliminating the insecurity produced by the wobble during start-outs in tandem riding or during steep climbs.
The Power Assist function is canceled about three seconds after starting, or when the throttle is cut back or the engine rpm reaches the authorized level. When the Power Assist (Hybrid System) is active, an indicator light in the instrument cluster will illuminate. By reversing the direction of electricity release, the SMG also functions as a motor, giving features such as a Quiet Engine Start System and an Automatic Stop and Start System. The side stand engine cut-off switch on the Fascino 125 Fi is a standard and necessary feature on all Yamaha two-wheelers in India.
The Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid with disc brakes features an LED headlight, daytime running lights (DRL), and LED taillight. It also has a computerized instrument cluster with a light that indicates when the Hybrid System is on. A 190mm front disc brake with UBS technology is included on the scooter. With the Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X application, there is also Bluetooth connectivity. The rider can also access information such as Answer Back, Locate my Vehicle, Riding History, Parking Record, and Hazard through the app.
Apart from that, the drum brake version has a number of features in common with the disc brake version, such as a side stand engine cut-off switch, multi-function key with seat opener function, 21-litre under-seat storage compartment, foldable convenience hook, maintenance-free battery, and 90/90-12 front and 110/90-10 rear tyres. A USB charger is an optional accessory.
