Piaggio India has launched the 2021 Aprilia SR 125 and Aprilia SR 160 in the Indian market.

The 2021 Aprilia SR 125 and Aprilia SR 160 get cosmetic upgrades and enhanced features to further enhance their appeal.

The 2021 Aprilia SR 160 is available in three trims – Standard, Carbon, and Race. Both SR 125 and SR 160 continue with their existing BS6 powerplants.

The SR 125 is powered by a 124.45 cc, three-valve, single-cylinder engine that makes 9.9 hp and 9.7 Nm of torque, while the SR 160’s 160cc three-valve, the single-cylinder unit makes 11 hp and 11.6 Nm of torque.

The new Aprilia SR series gets noticeable changes in the design such as a V-shaped LED headlight with DRLs, X-shaped motif for the LED taillight, split seats, redesigned handlebar cover, and the addition of knuckle guards.

The 2022 Aprilia SR gets a whole new digital instrument cluster (borrowed from the SXR 160) that features speed and fuel consumption data, readouts for trips, and a tachometer.

Furthermore, the scooter comes with features such as 11 liters of under-seat storage capacity, a USB charger, and a boot light.

 The starting price for the SR 125 is (INR 1,07,595)  and for the SR160 (INR 1,17,494).

The new BS6 standard scooter is introduced in the Nepali market by Dugar Brothers & Sons, the official distributor of Aprilia.

The booking of the scooter, which was launched in the Indian market only a few months ago, has already opened in Nepal about a month and a half ago.  The scooter will be available in four color options including Glossy Red, Glossy White, Matte Black, and Matte Blue.

Aprilia's maxi scooter will be with new technology for the Nepali market. It will have FI meaning fuel injection and ABS meaning anti-lock braking system and it will have an engine based on BS6 standard. Which generates 11 PS of power at 7100rpm.

The scooter also has disc brakes and adjustable rear suspension. There is also ergonomics for comfortable travel.

Featuring aerodynamic design, spacious comfortable seats, crystal headlights with LED technology, adjustable monosaccharide observer, etc., this scooter has a 7-liter fuel tank.
