Korean auto giant Kia’s first Hybrid SUV in Nepal, Kia takes a major step forward in its strategy for Hybrid vehicles in Nepal.

Kia Sorento Hybrid Features:

The hybrid motor is based on a TMED structure with a parallel drive system that shifts by wire through a full gearbox making the drive thrilling. 

Powered by a 1.6L TGDi turbo petrol engine and a 1.49 kWh battery mated with a 44.2 kW electromagnetic motor. The 2021 Sorento is not only the big SUV that can take on any terrain but is also a green alternative towards our cleaner and greener future.

The New Sorento uses both the Electric Motor as well as the TGDi petrol engine to lunge for a stationary position. At first, the Kia Sorento uses its electric motor to drive 25kmph, then the TGDi petrol engine takes over.

However, it uses both the electric motor and TGDi petrol engine through power-split transmission while accelerating. The New Sorento not only gives an unmatched power but also unmatched fuel tank mileage of 1054 km on a full tank. 

The all-new Sorento stands well in the crowd with its big and bulky body size, aggressive and mean-looking front end, beefier 19” alloy wheels, dual-LED projection headlamps, full panoramic sunroof and sharper body lines. Occupants inside the vehicle are seated comfortable thanks to a wider wheelbase of 2810 mm.

The front end features a wide-sweeping grille that integrates seamlessly with the LED lights that come as standard.

The 12.3- inch all-digital instrument cluster with a flawless easy-to-read display makes the screen much more advanced in Kia Sorento.

The Blind View Monitor technology projects a live video view of lanes adjacent to the instrument cluster and activates while using the turn signals.

The interior flourished with Nappa Leather makes it one of the premium interiors in its segment. Mood lamps, Heads up displays, Ventilated electric seats are some features that make the 2021 Sorento one of the luxurious SUVs.

Kia has been progressively updating its whole portfolio, and the recently launched Kia Sportage brings the company's efforts to a close.

The new Kia Sportage replaces the aging crossover and is a major departure from the previous model. The entirely redesigned model has now entered its fifth generation, making its global premiere with an all-new look based on the automaker's new design philosophy known as "Opposites United," which debuted with the Kia EV6.

Design

The Kia Sportage has a very complex grille with separate lighting features similar to the K5. More notably, the all-new vehicle now sports Kia's new badge. The revised version of the Tiger Nose grille, now known as the Digital Tiger Face, may also be seen on the 2022 Kia Sportage. The black mesh grille spans the entire fascia, and the boomerang-shaped DRLs distinguish it from the low-mounted headlamps.

More glass on the sides visually lengthens the Sportage. The fifth-generation Sportage features sleek lines that highlight the clean body surface. The global model gains a black roof as an option, as well as a redesigned wheel design that emphasizes more of the profile.

It's plausible that it's longer, but we won't know for sure until Kia provides specifics. The back has full-width taillights, however they are similar to those on the EV6.

Interior

Inside, the Kia Sportage features a contemporary cabin design that is just as radical as the exterior. It has two large screens for instruments and infotainment that are housed in a single black frame.

The air vents are arranged in a geometric pattern across the dashboard. And, based on the images of the press car, it looks like more colors and higher-quality materials are being used than the current model, which is relatively dark and plasticky.

Kia has not revealed any information about the powertrain, pricing, or dimensions. It has, however, revealed a slightly more rugged-looking X-Line edition with a distinctive bumper, side sill, and curved roof rack. The interior of the X-Line is available in sage green or black seating, as well as striking quilting and black metal wood.

The entire global market introduction of the 2022 Kia Sportage will take place later this year, with further information on its powertrain and other critical aspects to be published as the date approaches.
