The Nepalese market has received the all-new Kia Sorento SUV for 2021. Kia's newest Sorento, which won the title of "Large SUV of the Year" at the 2021 What Car? Car of the Year Awards, is now on Nepalese roads.

The new Kia Sorento will be offered in two trim levels: EXI and Executive. The 2.2-liter 4 cylinder diesel engine in the 2021 Sorento produces 198 horsepower and 440 Nm of torque and is connected to an 8-speed automated transmission. The new Sorento has an all-wheel-drive system.

Exterior

In comparison to the previous model, the exterior of the all-new Sorento has been updated. At the front, the 2018 Sorento features a large, angular grille that borrows numerous styling ideas from the future Kia Optima/K5. Kia's trademark 'tiger-nose' grille flows into the headlights and LED daytime running lights with ease. Sharp rear side windows and a stylish piece of silver trim on the C-pillar make the SUV's sides extremely eye-catching.

The back end of the car features a lot of creases and geometric apertures, while the remainder of the body is more modest.

Interior

The interior of the 2021 Sorento is stunning. An 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system commands attention, while physical air conditioning and heating controls are found beneath it, as well as a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster. The vents are trapezoidal in shape, and the door handles are square with a beveled edge.

Aluminum trimmings with diamond grid designs adorn the dashboard. Colorful ambient lighting and all-black leather trim add to the interior's appeal.

The new Sorento has a length of 4,810mm, a width of 1,900mm, and a height of 1,700mm. It had a 2,815mm wheelbase and a 176mm ground clearance. The fuel tank size is 67 litres, and the turning radius is 11.6 meters.

Depending on the model, you can additionally have 18′′/19′′ alloy wheels.

Features

The 2021 Kia Sorento comes standard with all of the safety features you'd expect from a large family SUV, plus Blind Spot View Monitor, Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist, Junction Assist, Color Head-Up Display, and Multi Collision Brake.

The EXI variant of the 2021 Kia Sorento SUV costs Rs 1.69 crore, while the Executive variant costs Rs 1.89 crore. Both variations are only available with an automatic transmission.Silky Silver, Steel Grey, Mineral Blue, Aurora Black, Gravity Blue, and Snow White Pearl are the six colors available for the 2021 Sorento.
