Great Wall Motors officially entered the Nepalese market. This much-anticipated brand with its luxurious products has finally made its way into the automobile sector of Nepal.

To celebrate its entry into Nepal, GWM is launching three highly anticipated vehicles, namely the 3rd Gen HAVAL H6 & HAVAL Jolion in the SUV Category and POER in the Pickup Category. Both models have been extensively redesigned in terms of look, interior space, overall performance, intelligence, and safety.

Great Wall Motors' showroom is located in Thapathali, Kathmandu, with plans to expand the network to key towns around Nepal in order to provide customers with a premium experience throughout the country. Great Wall Motors has announced the launch of 'R-1' at Auto Expo 2020, India. The fun part is that many traders are looking to bring this electric vehicle ora R-1 to Nepal.

This electric car, which can be bought in China for around 9 lakhs Nepalese rupees, appears to be selling for price of around 15 lakhs when it comes to Nepal.

Ora R-1 Electric car Specification

Ora R-1 electric car has a 33 kW lithium-ion battery and a 33 kW electric motor. Running at a speed of 100 km per hour, this electric car has the ability to cover a distance of 351 km in full-charge.

The Ora R-1 features a 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, while features like connected car technology, tire pressure monitoring system, reverse parking sensors make it great.

Greatwall Motors declared that VG Impex Pvt. Ltd. has been named as Vishal Group's official distributor. 

According to its website, an official agreement was signed between GreatPal Motors and VG Impex on December 31. 

Suzuki bikes, Volkswagen vehicles, Renault, MG and Mazda cars are still being sold in the Nepali market by different companies within the Vishal Group. In this way, as a new brand, Greatwall Motors is associated with the company.

The company will now import and sell Great Wall and Havells brand vehicles in the Nepali market. The company will also introduce the Ora R1 electric car, regarded as the cheapest car in the world, to Nepal.
