A Fortnite PC performance mode is introduced for players with machines with lower specs by Epic Games for better gaming performance. Players can access the mode from the game's system settings. Fortnite manages to run as well as it does on just about any conceivable platform from mobile to Switch to high-end gaming PC.

The company says, "The new model offers significant performance gains by trading out visual quality to lower memory usage and lighten the load on CPU and GPU,” meaning the game will look less good so it doesn’t touch your hardware.

Epic Games also bundled in a feature that allows players to remove high-resolution textures from the game’s install, which should save a significant amount of hard drive space. Also, Epic Games claimed that the players who run the game on the lowest settings can enjoy better framerates and save hard drive space.

It might finally be possible to run Fortnite in 720p at 60 frames per second, even on your old laptop with fewer resolutions.

AMD’s last batch of new graphics cards, the midrange Radeon RX 5700 series, didn’t wow with their designs or high-end performance — but the new Radeon RX 6000 looks like it could actually be the long-awaited answer to Nvidia’s flagship graphics cards.

When I say “looks like,” I mean it quite literally, though: AMD revealed the design of its new card on Twitter today, and its triple-fan, giant shroud, and twin 8-pin power connectors show it’s visually ready to play the part.

It’s a more refined look than its previous flagship Radeon VII, too.

Remarkably, AMD is letting you check out a full render of the card in its own Fortnite island, though we don’t expect many surprises that you can’t already see in the full, high-res image.

Nvidia offered a similar tease for its RTX 3090 design ahead of its recent GPU reveals, and we recently took a longer look at the RTX 3080 design as well.

AMD should be formally revealing the RX 6000 series at an event on October 28th, well after the $700 Nvidia RTX 3080 ships but potentially before you buy a $500 RTX 3070, which is set to arrive in October as well. Perhaps it’s worth waiting to see what kind of performance AMD’s card has up its sleeve. The new GPUs will share the same GPU architecture as the PS5 and Xbox Series X and S, by the way.

Cyberpunk 2077 is an upcoming action role-playing video game developed by CD Project. Its launch has been delayed multiple times before. December 10 is going to be an end of 8 long years of wait. It is scheduled to be released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Stadia, and Xbox One on 10 December 2020, whereas for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in 2021.

Cyberpunk 2077 makers also created the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which was released in 2015 and had won the Game Award for the Game of the Year.

The official website describes Cyberpunk 2077 as "an open-world, action-adventure story set in Night City, a megalopolis obsessed with power, glamour and body modification."

"You play as V, a mercenary outlaw going after a one-of-a-kind implant that is the key to immortality. You can customize your character’s cyberwar, skillset, and playstyle, and explore a vast city where the choices you make shape the story and the world around you."

The game reportedly offers a wide breadth of choice on how to build characters, choose sideways quests, and make decisions that breathe life into your character and the stories of people in your virtual world. And is said to be vivid and colorful in its own offerings.

Players across the globe are eagerly waiting to enter the Night City, the futuristic landscape where the game takes place.
