Smartphone makers getting into the notebook business seems to have become a trend in the last couple of years and we aren't complaining. With bigger competition, come wider choice and lower prices for consumers. And Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi wants to get into that growing gaming notebook segment too.

The company just teased its Redmi G gaming laptop is coming on August 14 and the promo posters look promising. The screen has minimal bezels giving the laptop that premium, modern look., As a result the webcam has been moved to the bottom bezel.

In its Weibo post, the company promises proper cooling solution and great performance while people familiar with the matter believe that the device will be powered by the Core i5-10200H and Core i5-10300H processors. It won't be long before we know what else the Redmi G has in store for us.

Global technology leader Xiaomi today announced the launch of two all-new smartphone models within the budget segment in Nepal: Redmi 9 and Redmi 9A. Touting powerful chipsets and premium features, these all-new variants represent Xiaomi’s mission to make exceptional smartphone experiences accessible to everyone.

The phone comes with a 6.53-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080x2340 pixels at a pixel density of 394 pixels per inch (ppi) and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Xiaomi Redmi 9 is powered by a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 processor. It comes with 3GB of RAM. The Xiaomi Redmi 9 runs Android and is powered by a 5020mAh non-removable battery. The Xiaomi Redmi 9 supports Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging.

The Xiaomi Redmi 9 on the rear packs a 13-megapixel primary camera with an f/2.2 aperture; a second 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture; a third 5-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture and a fourth 2-megapixel camera. It sports a 8-megapixel camera on the front for selfies, with an f/2.0 aperture.
