Tata's first SUV to embellish the IMPACT Architecture 2.0 concept of the new generation is the H5 XZ. It is also the first car brand that was developed jointly with Jaguar Land Rover, based on the new "Optimal Modular Efficient Global Advanced" architecture.

Design

Tata H5 XZ

The new H5 XZ gets the design language that Tata Motors calls Impact 2.0. At the front, the Tata H5 XZ gets a split headlamp cluster with high-mounted Daytime running lights and a large grille. The actual headlamps themselves are set lower in the bumper and have a projector set up along with a separate foglamp cluster underneath it too. And to round off the front end, it gets a silver skid plate.

Moving to the rear Tata H5 XZ gets a set of thin tail lamps with LED treatment that are joined by a gloss black panel. Just like the front bumper, there is a silver skid plate at the rear.

Interior

For the record, Tata Motors claims that the new-generation IMPACT Design 2.0 philosophy emphasizes the ambiance and practicality of the interior. Featuring the new design language, the SUV has the segment-leading HMI (Human Machine Interface) displays with ‘clear and intuitive user interface. The SUV comes with a two-layer dashboard and centre console design along with an integrated touchscreen for the infotainment system.

The front seats have a dedicated overhead storage binnacle and memory function. There is a centre armrest for the front and rear seat occupants. Feature-wise, the new Tata SUV will be loaded with several advanced comfort and safety fitments.

Engine

Under the hood, Tata H5 XZ gets a more powerful, FCA-sourced 2.0-liter turbo-diesel engine that generates a maximum power output of 170bhp at 3,750rpm and 350Nm of peak torque between 1,750rpm – 2,500rpm.

"Tata Altroz popular premium hatchback unveiled at a price of NPR 29,99,000 in Nepal."

Tata launched its premium hatchback, Tata Altroz just a week before Auto Expo 2020 in India. Sipradi Trading Pvt. Ltd., the official distributor of Tata Motors for Nepal, has unveiled its popular premium hatchback car Altroz digitally.

The base trim XE comes with double barrel headlamps, steel wheels with hub caps, chrome finishing on the dashboard, a 4-inch LCD instrument console, and a standard steering wheel. It is loaded on the safety front and comes with dual front airbags as standard, along with ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, high-speed limiter, and more.

Tata Altroz Specifications

In terms of dimensions, the Tata Altroz measures 3990 mm long, 1755 mm wide and 1523 mm height. The petrol version of the Tata Altroz car weighs 1036 kg.

The premium hatchback comes with a 2501 mm long wheelbase and Tata Altroz ground clearance is 165 mm.

The Tata Altroz car also comes with Eco and Drive mode as standard. But it's the top-end that gets a lot of features and these include dual-tone alloy wheels, projector headlamps with LED DRLs, LED fog lamps, auto climate control, auto headlamps, and rain-sensing wipers, multi-function steering wheel, one-touch auto down the window (driver's side), front and rear armrests, rear AC vents with a 12-volt socket, and leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob.

The Tata Altroz makes use of the company's IMPACT 2.0 design philosophy and on the design, front stays true to the 45X concept showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo. Visually, the Tata Altroz comes with the company's signature humanity line grille with glossy black treatment, flanked by a pair of sleek headlamps with integrated indicators, and a secondary light positioned below with LED daytime running lamps. The car will also come with a set of twin-four-spoke alloy wheels a blacked-out roof and LED tail-lamps.

Sipradi has opened booking of premium hatchback Altroz through all dealers across Nepal from today. Tata Altroz XM+ price in Nepal is Rs 36,30,000. The Tata Altroz will compete with Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Hyundai Elite i20, alongside Honda Jazz and Volkswagen Polo as well.

Tata Safari's exterior is quite reminiscent. The smart and expressive surface treatment brings in a surreal dynamism. 

It gets a chunky Grille with the Signature Tri-Arrow Chrome motif encased by the Humanity Line. It also gets the iconic stepped roof, held between the equally well-regarded roof rails.

Tata Safari gets Flared Wheel Arches and Protective Side Cladding, Dual Tone Front Bumper, Xenon HID Projector Headlamps, Dual Function LED Day-time Running Lamps (DRLs) with Turn Indicators, Signature Twin Light LED Tail Lamps, 18-inch Machined Alloy Wheels and Shark Fin Antenna.

Engine

Tata Safari is powered by a 2.0-litre Kryotec turbo-charged diesel engine. This engine churns out 167.63bhp at 3750rpm and a peak torque of 350Nm at 2500rpm. This engine is mated to a 6-speed manual and an automatic gearbox. The engine is BS6 compliant and gets 5- litres of the fuel tank. Tata Safari is offered either in 6 or 7 seater option.
