Tips to Take Care of White Clothes

10th January 2022
"White clothes are difficult to maintain."

White clothes are difficult to maintain. Buying white clothes that are made to last is one thing, but there is a lot more you can do to make them last.

Here are some recommendations for caring for your white clothes:

Use White Vinegar to Refresh Your Whites

To your whites, add half a cup of white vinegar. This may be able to draw the grey or yellow tones that are staining your whites out of the cloth and help them regain their natural color.

Alternatively, a half cup of oxygen bleach can be used for the same reason.

Soak Your Whites before Washing

Before tossing your whites into the washing machine to remove the grey tone, soak them for a couple of hours in a bucket of hot water with two cups of baking soda.

Then, put them in the washing machine with an enzyme-rich detergent that may break down fats, oils, and protein chains. This can be really useful for stain removal.

Separate your colors

The most common error is that people do not properly separate white clothes from other clothes.

Further, even light colors can transfer onto whites, so construct a pile of merely white items separately.

Lemon juice

Lemon juice is a natural bleaching agent that is effective on white clothing. Hot water is safe for the cloth and you can also add half a cup of lemon juice.

Then soak the items for an hour or overnight before washing them, as usual, the next day.

Get Rid of Mobile Addiction | Tips |

7th January 2022
"Addiction to smartphones is a serious issue!"

Addiction to smartphones is a serious issue! We check our mobile phones incessantly when conversing, working, walking, and driving, even though we know we shouldn't.

We just can't help ourselves! So, here are some ideas to assist you to break free from your phone addiction:

Don’t use your phone in bed

Making your bed a phone-free zone is the first step in breaking your smartphone addiction.

Don't let your phone be the last thing you see before going to bed and the first thing you check in the morning.

If you use a conventional alarm clock and charge your phone out of reach you will not be waking up with loads of messages and notifications.

Moreover, blue light disrupts your sleep hormones.

Delete unnecessary apps

In any case, the majority of the apps on your phone are probably simply cluttered.

Keep the applications you want to encourage yourself to use front and center, such as those for reading or learning a new language, but move anything you want to restrict your time with to folders on your second page of apps (or if you have an Android phone, off the screen entirely).

Consider how much more productive you'd be if you weren't constantly checking Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

Keep yourself on a schedule

The first thing you can do is set alerts that define how frequently you may check your phone. Begin with every 15 minutes, then every half hour, every 45 minutes, and finally every hour.

When your alarm goes off, take one minute to look through all alerts and then reset the timer.

Have a phone-free day once a week

Do something out of the ordinary once a week, such as leaving your phone at home. For a whole day (or even half a day if you're just starting out).

Step outdoors! Then return later on to catch up on all of the emails and texts you missed.

Turn off notifications

Notification is the major reason we open our mobile every now and then. There's no reason to check your phone if you don't have any notifications.

Turning off push notifications for as many applications as possible is an extremely simple technique to reduce distractions.

To change your notification settings, go to Settings > Notifications.

Tips to Avoid Spit End

9th January 2022
"The tip of your hair is the most exposed and fragile portion of it."

The tip of your hair is the most exposed and fragile portion of it. Moreover, daily wear and strain on your hair will deteriorate and wear away the cuticle over time, exposing the inner cortex.

As a consequence, your hair ends up split or damaged. Here are some ideas to help you avoid split ends:

Avoid Chemicals:

Chemical processes, like bleaching or relaxing, blast open the cuticle, which serves as the protective layer of the hair shaft. As a result, the structural integrity of the hair strand is compromised, making breaking more frequent.

Moreover, if you do undergo chemical treatments, make sure you go to a hairdresser you know will take good care of your hair.

Following that, you should also adjust your hair care routine to your procedure to avoid worsening the damage.

Regular trims:

Trims are necessary to prevent split ends from crawling up the hair shaft and further damaging the hair.

When hair begins to split, it can continue to tear farther up the root, requiring the hairdresser to trim off the additional length on your next appointment.

Avoid hot tools:

Hot tools, such as curling irons, flat irons, and blow dryers, function by using high temperatures to break down the structure of the hair, allowing you to restructure it as required. It should come as no surprise that this is extremely damaging to hair when done daily.

Of course, we're not going to advise you to skip it—especially if a blowout is your thing or if you have a patch of curls that require a little more attention—but if you realize that your hair is more prone to breaking than others, check to see how you may adjust your habits here.

Use a detangler and smarter brushes:

Brushing can also create physical wear and strain, which can lead to splitting. This is a larger issue for curly females since their hair tangles and knots more easily.

If you have curls, apply a detangling spray before brushing them—the spray will create a layer of conditioning ingredients, making it simpler to untangle curls. When conditioning, you can also change to detangling in the shower:

After applying a good amount of conditioner, brush through strands with a damp hairbrush. Stick to combing straight or slightly wavy hair dry.
