Vivo's freshly launched Vivo Y55 will be available in Nepal soon. This is a 4G model, as compared to the Vivo Y55 5G, which was introduced earlier this year in China.

It boasts an AMOLED display and is powered by the Snapdragon 680 CPU.

Design

The Vivo Y55 is made of plastics and features a rectangular camera bump on the rear. The camera platform features two massive camera circles as well as a flash.
The rear is fingerprint-resistant.

The power and volume controls are located on the device's right side. A 3.5mm headphone jack, a microphone, a USB-C connector, and a speaker are located on the bottom.

On the top, there is a SIM card tray as well as a specialized MicroSD card slot.

Display

It features a 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a touch sampling rate of 180Hz. The refresh rate of the display has not been publicly announced by the brand.

We believe it is 60Hz. The selfie camera is housed in a waterdrop notch on the display.

The top and side bezels are quite small, but the bottom bezel is significantly bigger. The phone also has an optical fingerprint sensor built into the touchscreen.

Camera

It contains a 50MP primary camera, as well as a 2MP macro and a 2MP depth sensor. A 16MP selfie camera is located on the front.

Battery and OS

The gadget is powered by a 5000mAh battery. It is capable of 44W quick charging. Realme says that it can charge to 50% in 28 minutes.

The gadget runs Funtouch OS 12, which is based on Android 12.

Vivo Y55 Price in Nepal and Availability

In Nepal, the Vivo Y55 is likely to cost approximately Rs. 35,000. It will be available in Nepal shortly.

Following the launch, it will be sold in Vivo authorized outlets throughout Nepal.

After the recent launch of Vivo V20 in the Nepalese market, Vivo is planning to launch Vivo V20 SE, a cheaper version of Vivo V20 in Nepal. It is the third smartphone in the V-series. 

Vivo V20 SE Overview

Design and Display

Design-wise, Vivo V20 SE is a bit different from the Vivo V20 and Vivo V20 Pro. Unlike Vivo V20 Pro which has a glass build, Vivo V20 SE has a plastic build made up of polycarbonate. The phone has 3D curved body. The triple camera setup at the rear panel is arranged inside a rectangular model unlike the charming design one can see in Vivo V20. The smartphone is available only in two colors i.e. Gravity Black and Oxygen Blue.

As for the display, Vivo V20 features a 6.44 inches AMOLED display the same as the V20 model. It has the same resolution of 1080 × 2400 pixels as the V20 model. It has a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 90.12% screen-to-body ratio. At the top center of the display, the phone has a waterdrop notch that houses the selfie camera.

Camera

Vivo V20 parades a triple camera setup at the rear that comprises of a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. It is arranged vertically inside a rectangular module. For the selfie camera, the phone has a waterdrop notch at the top center on the display that houses a 32MP selfie camera. It features Vivo's advanced features like Super Night Selfie and Softlight band with which one can click clear and good quality photos even in dark.

Performance and Battery

The phone runs on Android 10, unlike Vivo V20 which has Android 11 OS. Under the hood, it has Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset. Moreover, the phone is coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The phone is available only in one configuration variant. 

As for the battery, the phone packs a 4100mAh battery that has 33W fast charging support. With the fast charging support, Vivo V20 SE can be juiced up to 62% in just 30 minutes.
