Volkswagen Virtus Compact Sedan Makes Global Debut

Volkswagen India has revealed the new Virtus compact sedan that makes its global debut.
The all-new offering is the newest car to be built on the MQB A0 IN platform and is the fourth car on the platform.
The Volkswagen Virtus replaces the Vento measures 4561 mm in length, and 1752 mm in width, while the wheelbase stands at 2651 mm.It is also the longest and widest car in the class. The boot capacity is an impressive 521 litres.The Virtus gets 16-inch alloy wheels as standard.
Cabin include the digital instrument console, 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, My Volkswagen Connect an electric sunroof, automatic climate control, ventilated front leather seats, cruise control, and wireless charging.
The 1.0-litre TSI turbo petrol engine that develops 113 bhp and 175 Nm of peak torque, while paired with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter. The GT Line will draw power from the more powerful 1.5-litre TSI EVO engine that develops 148 bhp and 250 Nm of peak torque.
The Virtus will be offered in six colours, including this Wild Cherry Red, along with - Candy White, Carbon Steel Grey, Curcuma Yellow, Reflex Silver, and Rising Blue Metallic.
