Pioneer Moto Corp Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of Nissan and Datsun vehicles for Nepal, has achieved a new milestone. Since the debut of Big Bold Beautiful Nissan Magnite back on February 22nd 2021 in Nepal, Pioneer Moto Corp has already delivered 1111 units of Nissan Magnite so far and has received 1700+ bookings.

Within a few months of its launch, the "Big. Bold. Beautiful." SUV has proven to be highly appreciated and loved in the Nepalese market. Nissan Magnite has gained tremendous love and support in the subcompact SUV Segment in Nepal and has also led Nissan to the Top 3 Automobile brand in the passenger vehicle segment.

Nissan Magnite is equipped with a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine, with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The engines are expected to make around 72PS power and 96Nm torque and will come mated to a manual gearbox as standard.

The more powerful engine is a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that makes around 97 bhp of max power and offers 160 Nm of peak torque. This engine also is available with a 5-speed manual transmission. 

The sub-compact SUV will be available in four trims – XE (Base), XL (Mid), XV (Upper), and the XV (Premium) in a total of 11 variants. Nissan Magnite has got a four star rating in the crash test of Global Encap.

Nissan LEAF launched in Nepal at a special introductory price of NPR 62.99 lakh

On the occasion of World EV Day, Nissan organised a virtual session for Nepal, Bhutan and Sri Lanka markets on making electric mobility more accessible in South Asian markets to create a more sustainable green future. 

The availability of an abundant amount of hydropower in Nepal and Bhutan have made both countries a very strong case for EVs, both environmentally and economically. With Nissan’s mission to deliver the right mobility solutions for as many people as possible, the societal and economic benefits of driving more sustainability in South Asian countries could not be understated.

In line with the Nepalese government’s forward-thinking policies on carbon neutrality and support towards electric mobility, Nissan was recently able to launch the zero-emission Nissan LEAF EV in Nepal at a special introductory price of NPR 62.99 lakh to the first 50 customers.

Globally, Nissan LEAF vehicles have driven more than 2.5bn cumulative kilometres since their launch in 2010, resulting in a total amount of real-world usage data: of 1.2m tons of CO2 reduction saved (the equivalent approx. 90m trees).

Charging the Nissan LEAF is easy and convenient as owners are provided with multiple charging options. The Nissan LEAF can be fully powered up in 15 to 18 hours at home through a dedicated wall outlet with the supplied universal charging cable. Owners can also go to quick charging stations found in select Nissan dealerships nationwide and power up their Nissan LEAF to a full charge in as fast as 40 to 60 minutes.
