Five new electric scooters are anticipated to be launched in India over the next year. In recent years, Indian automakers have been focusing on electric mobility, and a slew of new EVs are set to hit the market soon.

The electric scooter market has been rapidly expanding, and two-wheeler giants like Bajaj and TVS, as well as a slew of lesser manufacturers like Ather, Okinawa, and others, have already entered the fray. We've compiled a list of five electric scooters that are likely to arrive in India within a year, or before the middle of 2022.

1. Ola electric scooter:

Ola is planning to join the Indian market for electric scooters soon. The company's huge facility in Tamil Nadu is nearly finished, and the first Ola e-scooter will debut in July 2021. The scooter's technical characteristics and other characteristics have yet to be released.

In India, Gogoro already owns the trademark for the name "Viva," prompting anticipation that the Gogoro Viva will be the first e-scooter to be launched under this cooperation.

4. Ather:

Ather, a brand-new electric scooter The patent application for Ather's future electric scooter was recently leaked on the internet. The new model has a maxi-scooter design, yet it appears to be quite tiny. The technical details, such as battery size and motor rating, are still unknown.
