As the new year approaches, various companies have started preparations to bring new cars to Nepal. Tata, Maruti Suzuki and Nissan are launching their new cars in Nepal within the month of February.

Suzuki Dzire Facelift, Tata Nexon Facelift and Nissan Magnite have reached the final stage of bringing all-new model Magnet to Nepal.

 
 

Suzuki Dzire Facelift




 

CG MotoCorp, the official distributor of Maruti Suzuki, has also announced the price of Swift Dzire Facelift. The company has opened the booking by fixing the price of VXI variant at Rs 34,29,000 and ZXI at Rs 37,79,000.

The Desire is powered by Maruti Suzuki's K12N, four-cylinder engine. In this, the customer will get the facility of idle start and stop.  The engine generates 90 ps of power at a maximum of 6000 rpm and 113 Nm of torque at 4400 rpm. It will be available in 5 speed manual gearbox.

The Facelift Dzire has front disc and rear drum brakes. Speaking of suspense, the Dzire has a MacPherson strut on the front and a Torsion beam on the back. The company has given two options of steel and alloy wheels.  

Steel wheels will have 14-inch tires and alloy wheels will have 15-inch tires.

Nissan Magnite


 

Nissan's official distributor Pioneer MotoCorp is releasing the compact SUV Magnite in the second week of February. The company has stated that 4 variants of Nissan Magnite : 1.0 Natural Aspired engine and 3 variants of Turbo engine will be coming to Nepal.

Nissan Magnite has a 1.0 liter petrol and 1.0 liter turbo petrol engine. It will have 5 speed manual and automatic gearbox.

Tata Nexon Facelift

Sipradi Trading, Tata's official distributor, is preparing to bring the facelift model of its most successful sub-compact SUV Nexon to Nepal. The company said Nexon's facelift model could be unveiled in the second half of February.

The company has not given any information about the variants in the facelift model . However, the company initially said it would only bring in petrol engines (1199 cc).

The new Nexon, which is coming to Nepal, will have a 1.2 liter Reverton turbo petrol engine. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual and automatic gearbox.The Nexon has a mileage of 17.0 to 21.5 kmpl. 

The Nexon is a 5 seater and has a length of 3993mm, a width of 1811mm and a wheelbase of 2498mm.

Features include automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, leather-covered steering wheels and gear knobs, tire pressure monitoring systems, and cruise control.

Maruti Suzuki's sub-four meter SUV Brezza BSVI petrol version is now in Nepal.  Maruti Suzuki plans to launch the Breza in a few days. They will be launching VXI and ZXI Plus in Nepal for now.

Previously available only in diesel engines, Brezza will now be available only in petrol engines as Suzuki has stopped the production of diesel engines in the Indian market.
The price of the new Brezza, which is coming with more cosmetic modifications than before, has not been revealed yet. Reviews expect the price to be cheaper than the earlier diesel version and in the bracket of Rs 39,49000 to 42,9000.

Preparations are underway to put it in showrooms from next week. The company will probably officially release price and feature information on Sunday. At present, the starting price of a diesel Breza in Nepal is Rs 39 lakh 49 thousand while the price of the top variant is Rs 45 lakh 29 thousand.

It will compete in the Nepali market with models like Ford EcoSpot, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon,  Mahindra XUV300.

 

 

Features

The facelift model of Maruti Suzuki's popular sub-four meter SUV Brezza is being sold in India in nine different variants. However, the company has not given any information about which models have been brought to Nepal.
In India, Brezza's LXI, VXI, ZXI, ZXI Plus, and ZXI Plus (DualTone) are sold in 5 variants manually and VXI, ZXI, ZXI Plus and ZXI Plus (DualTone) are being sold in 4 automatic variants.
CG MotoCorp is launching VXI and ZXI Plus in Nepal for now.

Engine

The new Brezza is powered by a 1.5-liter BS-VI K15B SHVS four-cylinder petrol engine. The engine will provide 105 PS of power and 138 Nm of torque. 5-speed manual and 4-speed torque converter automatic gearbox is given.

Hybrid Technology 

According to the company, it uses hybrid technology. The technology has features like fuel-saving, ideal starter stop, torque assist function, brake energy regeneration.

Design

With some modifications to the front, the Breza features redesigned headlamps and LED daytime running lights. The use of chrome on the grill in its top variant makes the car look very attractive. This makes the car look sharper and more sporty than before.

The starting price of the Suzuki Vitara is NRs. 79,99,000. 

Suzuki Vitara is expected to arrive in Nepal in March 2021 and the company has opened advanced booking with special offers for interested customers.
