Jeep Compass Facelift soon to be launch in Nepal
"The new Compass is expected to arrive in Nepal in the first week of March."
According to the reports, the most awaited Jeep Compass is likely to enter Nepal in the first week of March. Life Automobile, the authorized distributor of Jeep vehicles for Nepal, has stated that the process to import the vehicles has already begun.
The company unveiled the new Compass in India on January 27.
Engine
The Facelift Compass is powered by the same 1.4-liter turbo petrol and 2.0-liter four-cylinder multi-jet turbo diesel engine. The turbo petrol engine generates 163 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque and the diesel engine generates 173 hp and 350 Nm of torque.
A 6-speed manual will be set as standard on all SUV lines, however a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic and a 9-speed automatic transmission will be offered as an option for petrol and diesel engines.
Design
The 7-slot grille is used in the Facelift Compass. Also, the front bumper and rear bumper of the vehicle have been redesigned.
Major Features
The new infotainment system brought by Fiat Chrysler is used in it. The recognizable part is that it will be featured with a new :
- 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system-
- Panoramic sunroof, new steering wheel
- Modified 10.25-inch digital instrument console
- Uconnect technology.
Safety features
The Jeep Compass is already strong in terms of security features. Features such as :
- 7 airbagsABS with EBD
- Brake assist
- 360 degree camera
- Electronic stability program
- Hill descent control.
The new Compass is expected to arrive in Nepal in the first week of March. Jeep's official dealer Life Automobile has stated that it has already started the import process.
