Planning to buy a new smartphone this year but only have 30k in your pocket? Then one of these mid-range budget phones are for you. Although placed under the category of a mid-range budget phone, some have very little compromises and can perform as good as flagships.

Some have the misconception that budget phones have reduced performance and low spec hardware, which is not completely true. Less powerful hardware compared to flagships, yes, but still has above par build quality and/or performance. Performance of mid-range phone is getting better and better with newer generation processors, as well as flagship designs that are pouring over to the Mid-range lineup. 5. Samsung Galaxy J8

Samsung Galaxy J8 is one of the most popular mid-range phones from Tech Giant Samsung. The device features 6.0-inch FHD AMOLED with 18:9 Infinity display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 Processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, 16 MP (f/1.7) main camera + 5 MP (f/1.9) secondary camera in rear and 16 MP selfie camera and a 3500mAh battery.

Difference between Note 6 Pro and its predecessor is the presence of a notch in its display, housing dual selfie cameras of which the second sensor being a depth sensing camera. There are two versions of this phone with 3GB RAM, 32GB internal memory and 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory under 30k pricing Rs 24,999 for the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant.
